Thankfully there's nothing I fancy in that range, there probably would be if they didn't have different designs restricted to the women and children's t-shirts. Nothing I fancy in the upcoming Pokemon stuff either.

I see Insert Coin are releasing Monster Hunter t-shirts on Friday. Might get one of those but I've got a t-shirt from them before and the neck was higher and tighter than you'd expect.

I've only read this page but I fail to see the problem here.

Let's say you've gone completely bonkers and bought shitloads of figures and paints I can't see you spending more than about £5K max and that's as I said if you've gone completely mental.
That's no worse than someone whose bought a car for a rebuild project or plenty of other similarly harmless hobbies.

It really does annoy me when you see people who moan at someone for spending money on a hobby like painting miniatures which takes skill and patience and hurts nobody as what's the point in having money if you can't spend it on something you enjoy.

5K?! I’ve no idea of warhammer prices but would’ve thought topping about 500 would be difficult.

500 is easy, i've definitely spent that much since getting back into it, but that has been starting completely from scratch and buying older/rarer models on ebay too.

The citadel tools are hella expensive, so I wouldn't have bothered with those, but the paints are still good quality and they've finally got the pot design right, so they shouldn't dry out like the screw ones did (they strawberry floating sucked). I still have original "Citadel Colour" paints from the early 90s that haven't dried.

Plastic moulding technology has been pushed ridiculously far by GW so the detail, is insane and their sculptors are obviously talented. Worth looking around second hand though, you can strip any and all paint off with neat Dettol in half day's soak.

Fair enough, no need to defend your miniature phase bruv ;)

I finished off a homogaunt the other day which is pretty ace, I'll share in the miniature thread

Edit: The deburring tool does look useful though. I use a scalpel, and a dremel for other stuff.

Aldi have a bunch of files and hand drills in at the moment btw. I have "yato" files from Amazon, they're really good for cleanup.

Edit 2: Get these, they're strawberry floating great for cleanup of mould lines in seconds: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yato-professio ... B009SFOAC2

I actually already have a set of files I got from amazon the other day, they are basically the same thing. I have a scalpel and all that gooseberry fool too, but no pics as I just had them from amazon in drabs rather than getting all in one ceremonial 'haul'

I happened to be in aldi the other day and saw the empty shelves for the hobby tools which were all gone, shame as I then had to pay more from amazon but whatevs

Seeing as we're all sharing T-shirts, I picked up 3 "sample" :shifty: American Apparal tees, specifically some triblends, which fit really nice. Their standard tee is fricking long howevever and practically a dress, so I think I'll tuck that one in and have it hang out a bit with my belt and leatherman and other manly gooseberry fool at work/meetings places for a smart but easy going look. Nice colours too.

Nowhere near that bright though. Gotta love how this douche looks exactly the same in all the photos.

3 for about £12 quid, lovely wholesale prices. I'll print whatever on them.

Made a splatoon shirt as a practice the other day for some new transfer media, looks pretty neat. I stole the image that Prima Strategy Guides seemingly uploaded in full resolution by accident here: https://primagames.com/media//files/egu ... R_opt.jpeg

i swear by their 50/50 blend. they dont stretch or shrink like their normal 100% cotton, and the colours are lovely. never tried their tri-blends though.

Gildan and by that most cotton shirts should be preshrunk but yeah polyester doesn't shrink.

Triblend contains 25% rayon/viscose. 50% cotton. All terrible fibres for the environment.

I was wearing a Gildan softstyle today with the splatoon print I added (pissed off with myself because it's off centre but was midnight when I did it), in the heat I sweated more than the triblend which is technically a track shirt. I don't normally wear them as I consider them too thin, the drape is too ripply and I feel like a bit of an old man wearing a thin shirt even though I'm 30. The American apparel triblend was nice because it didn't feel at all clingy even in Saturday's heat. So i think I'll be getting more of those for my personal stuff. Anvil do a cheaper version however and seeing as it's the same company there is literally no point paying for the satin label with American apparel on it.

Just in case anyone didn't know, Gildan bought American apparel and they are now made in Honduras, but their factory conditions are decent. The cuts and fabric are supposedly the same, but I never got why it was considered a premium brand. You can get qualify from far lesser known brands. I like James and Nicholson in Germany.

Exciting stuff.
