I always assumed they just had crappy parents who never taught them to look after themselves properly, like maybe if your mum didn't constantly tell you to put your coat on before she takes you anywhere you would grow up not knowing to dress appropriately.

+1 for this. Especially winter clothes since your basic boots and jackets don't usually change in style too much. I got a pair of sorrell fur lined boots for about £40 last summer down from £120 and fleece lined doc Martin's cheap too. Both will last me years.

I got myself a decent north face jacket last June for less than half price. Only worn it about 5 times, mind, but I'm sure it'll last me a while.

Also, speaking of Docs I got some a few years ago and the sole fabric glue doesn't hold too well on one of them, meaning it bunches up under my foot occasionally. Need to re-glue it, but I wear them so infrequently I never remember.

We bought all our holiday clothes in the off season when nobody wanted it. Was substantially cheaper.

Of course that holiday will now never happen so jokes on me.

This arrived yesterday, it's an Australian copy as there are no signs whatsoever of there being a UK release.

The show used to air on E4, but Channel 4 shunted the last season to a graveyard timeslot, then said no one was watching (i wonder why), and so despite screening seasons 1-6, will not be broadcasting the final season. I guess they're too busy focusing on shite such as Gogglebox, Naked Attraction, and that show they made about pubic hair.

Channel 4 used to be one of the go to places for top US shows, now it's just a juvenile embarrassment.
