Roughly £50, including postage. Sold out in 13 minutes. Second (and final) wave up for pre-order at 5am.

The film festival website mentions a 'dark suit' dress code- I'm not actually expected to wear a tux, am I?

Not necessarily a tuxedo I guess but we’re going all out for it.

I'm surprised anyone lasted longer than 2 minutes.

Just kidding. I understand 2D bewbs.

That headphones packaging is some of the most pretentious I've ever seen. Just like something I would write. The last sentence "this is music" kills it though.

I admire your conviction.

£10.00

It works but it has two stupidly bright lights that stay on constantly whenever it’s switched on

Is this a national Game deal? I just got the game too and that seems very reasonable for the extra packs.

In store only and you might need to ask staff but yep, picked up 3 playlist packs yesterday in Nottingham and there were a bunch left. I paid £1.99 each and 3 for 2.

I bought a belt sander.

Richard, you could crack that thing open and just snip the LED out. The irony being that you might then not be introducing enough resistance in the circuit and blow up your iPad Pro while charging it.

Could replace it with a resister of equal value although I'm also aware you're not really the kind of guy that's gonna make do with stuff.

Speaking of which I'm repairing a £60 pair of AKGs at the moment (I've also repaired a £60 pair of Sennies but this is much harder because they use a ridiculously low gauge of enamel-coated copper twisted around nylon which is a total banana split to solder). Made a new cable by mutilating of the OEM AKG connector (to the headphones, it's one of the removable ones but they all have different designs) and replaced with Vanne Dame Pro XKE starquad cable and NEUTRIK/REAN jacks. Turned out the wiring inside the headband was completely merked so now been soldering 6 joints at a barely visible scale as well (would have been 2 but I repaired it without adding break-out/jumper leads but decided the joint was too big, wicked it away and then broke it :fp:). Then Dremel'd out a channel to fit the two sheathed cables (was 2 core single sheath). Superglued that in after hotgluing all the joints so it won't break.

Works great :)

Two issues from my favourite Iron Man arc. Really wanted to buy all the volume 3 issues, but I could've spent a fortune so just these two.

My most recent purchases

Endless Space 2 (Steam)
Slay the Spire (Steam)
Avengers: Infinity War (Bluray)
Tablet/Kindle Fire stand
Hellhole trilogy - Kevin J Anderson (Kindle)
Scythian Dawn - PK Lentz (Kindle)

That last one is described as a "Barbarian Space Opera" which quite frankly sounded utterly strawberry floating awesome.

It’s now gone, it was far to annoying but I have replaced it with some more lights!

Around £600 (Tree, Decorations and lights) it’s a lot fuller looking than my old tree

I'll find my photo later, but I bought a natural tree for £15.

I'm beginning to sound like an old record I suppose, but I find the amount of money being splashed around on absolute tat in here absolutely obscene.

I still can't see how you've managed to spend more than £200 tops there and that's being generous. Are you replacing the decorations every week?

I know, we normally put up the decorations on or just after the 1st of December but because it was new we wanted to see how it looked and it started with just looking at it and turned into putting all the decorations up

The photo doesn’t really do it justice, the tree is 7ft and from Selfridges, it also has a lot of decorations on it more than double that I had in previous years
