£1,300 on a phone :o .

I really don't understand why anyone would need a phone that expensive unless they're part of the SAS or Inspector Gadget.

Richard if you pay off my overdraft and credit card I promise to film myself walking into my bank wearing a union flag suit to make the payment.

Thank strawberry float for that, I was more worried about the flag's non-appearance than yours.

Thank you.

I usually buy a bag of them but the little packets are more convenient to stick in a jacket pocket. Nowhere around here sells the little cherry flavour packets (just the generic normal menthol flavour I don't really like) so I had to resort to eBay and bought in bulk which should last me a while. They're very handy for this time of year when I can get a bit choked up with phlegm, or when it's hayfever season :)

1. I had no idea there were other versions.
2. I want that on a tee *now* (Gonna tweet Uniqlo about it after this )
3. Do you see how in the 3rd version the tips of the waves look stylized/not how we know waves break? Well that actually is how waves break! They split just like that! I was watching something on NHK World (Yes, I know ) and they were saying how we (modern generation?) only realised this thanks to super slow motion cameras. Well then how the strawberry float did Katsushika Hokusai figure it out?! mindblown.gif

Uh, I bought a teapot cat for someone's birthday.

Looks like this but mine's missing the kitten/milk jug.

That picture is freely available, why don't you just make your own t-shirt?

Same reason I don't make my own <insert really simple thing I could make myself instead of buying here>, that and laziness.

Well, I am a T-shirt printer but tbh it's not as good as a properly set up 4 colour screenprint for 1x. I don't have space for that. It very much depends on what it is.

That image probably isn't widely available at 300-1200dpi unless it's in the public domain or live licensed it from a national archive scan of the original. The colour separations faithfully reproducing something like that are pretty difficult.

Sorry, default reaction to defend the integrity of the arts :slol:

That's got to be like 10 sumi-e and Hokusai style tees in the past few weeks, SoK?

You'd have enough for a small bootsale at this rate.

Edit: hang on just let me fire up the printer and I'll be round the corner in 20 minutes...

New Star Wars tees due on Monday: https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/content/ID ... 21600.html Features designs by James Jarvis, STASH and Masumi Ishikawa. Yeah! I've never heard of them either!! But some of the designs are quite nice. And then there's this strawberry floating thing:

JarJar X The Great Wave off Kanagawa (that isn't what's called but that is clearly the inspiration)

Sold out on New Era so had to buy via Footshop :| I bet my accounts are being cleaned out as I type.

Sent this back as I didn't like the high fit :( But! On the plus side! Footshop (at cost) offer speedy dispatch and refunds. So that's something.

That jar jar design is hideous, i'm amazed Uniqlo have allowed it to be released.

What's most bizarre about that design is, that, it would be better suited as a kids' design, but for that, they've only opted for that artist's Darth Vader tee! :?

edit: I actually had heard of Masumi Ishikawa

Speaking of embroidery, my DBZ shirts came, and it turns out the Chiaotzu design is embroidered onto the pocket. So that's nice.
