I would prefer that set-up, to be honest with you. As some of the designs they supposedly leave in the pro's hands have given us abominations such as The Great Wave off Kanagawa mashed up with Jar Jar strawberry floating Binks!

DBZ hoodies arrived. All 'large'. All baggy as fook. They're going back tomorrow.

as I have one in small and it fits perfectly (I'm a otherwise a 'M' or 'L'), but I couldn't be 100% sure. I am now 100% sure. But I will be keeping the black and yellow Joy Divison tee, so the order wasn't a total waste.

That Frieza one is kind of misleading as the image is subtly sliced up.

Before you make your mind up: they have 2 more designs available in XL on Uniqlo. (DBZ logo and Goku with halo)

I've already got the logo on a shirt, and I've never been one for blue hoodies- they look weird paired with similarly coloured jeans.

bought these cargo trousers and denim jacket on sale from Carharrt WIP
very impressed with the quality. jacket sleeves are crazy long though so ive cuffed them for now. might see how much it is to shorten them.

Those hoods are probably US style casual hoodies which are huge and baggy, uniclo don't always use the same blank for their designs. I've dealt in large heavyweight 300gram L before and they are HUGE from a US-based manufacturer.

For the designs of square stills etc, the people you need to feel sorry for are the guys doing colour separations, it's actually really hard to get a photographic quality print using as little and as few inks as possible and uniclo generally do this really well with very little half toning etc, altough I think increasingly they are moving to digital prints for some designs. It's very hard to tell what techniques have been used which is generally a good thing.

How hard the garment factory has to push to get those designs out selling for as little as a few quid however, now that is another subject.
