I also hand wash them.

EDIT: Tip on washing/drying them: never* chuck them in the washing machine. When putting them out to dry, fill the cap with something (balled up socks, paper, etc) which will fill the structure of the cap out and leave on a flat surface. Doing both of those will help keep the original shape of the cap. (Which is important if it's a structured or semi-structured cap. And if you care. Which most of you probably don't.)

*You can get these wire frame things in which you insert the cap and place the frame in the wash, but I don't trust 'em to not strawberry float the washing machine up.

I also probably have that many caps, mine are all F1 related though and a lot of them date back to the 1990's.

Wait, you wash caps?

I have 5 wholesale caps from Anvil and Comfort Colours (later has shut down), they're really nice. Best is the brushed cotton one and the 5 panel / military cap.

So put a logo on it and that's 10x the price.

Yep, had to wash my McLaren Honda one as i wore it all summer and it was really grimy after a while.

On a separate note, bought a new mp3 player today from Argos as my little Samsung is really getting old now...

Not enough memory on the phone for the amount of songs i like to have, plus it's nice to have things separate sometimes.

A more important question is what phone does he have? Not enough memory for songs? :dread:

Honestly? I'm with Vermi. I treated myself to this after Christmas. My previous MP3 player had finally given up the ghost.

I think I've seen that Walkman on Techmoan. I can totally understand wanting a separate if you like to have a lot of songs on the go, that and I expect the quality of music is better on a top medium/top range separate than it is on a similar level phone.

Asda only seem to get stock in a couple of times a month, and it sells out super fast online, too. And now local Sainsbury have stopped stocking it. Looked it up on Amazon and it's £19 for a 900g tab. (90g tub goes for £1.10.) So stuck it in cart ignoring the subscription option, only to then be offered a even better subscription offer and so ended up getting it for £13  Stuck subscription on 6 months and will cancel it down the line. (They don't jack the price up after cancelling a sub.)

Originally posted in late June, 2020. It's time to order a replacement. Didn't fancy paying £18 (!) for it (why oh why didn't I keep that sub?! :fp: ), but I've found a cheaper alternative which will hopefully makes for a good substitute:

Normal price is about £11. But I got a voucher and a bit extra nocked off, and so the total came to £8.79. I'm expecting it to be not as good as the Aromat, but I may stick with it as long as it isn't too dissimilar.

You could always experiment and make your own mix, it seems to just be a combination of paprika, garlic powder, salt, coriander, pepper and chilli.

I use a separate MP3 player (sandisk sansa clip running rockbox). Much less distracting and no worries about running down my phone battery, and buttons make it easier than a touch screen.
