I think it's increased quite a bit over the years so you're probably fine. Naturally I expect it to go down so every time I think about importing something I double guess it and my assumption is I'll get ripped off anyway.

Don't mind paying tax but the situation I described with the t-shirts was ridiculous, that's when it sucks.

Well we'll be sure to find out at some point anyhow, as the shop emailed me to say the goods have been dispatched (shipping time though is estimated at 2-4 weeks).

I just hope that if i do have to pay duty, then it won't be very much.

I end up with stuff like that from Unity in Brighton, you can build up a neat geektastic collection

My favourite is probably "Open Sauce - Sponsored by Sainburys"

Is that a flourecent pink ink?

I can get florescent colours done in sublimation now. Should try it at some point, but I have effectively UV transfers as well.

I did this glow in the dark which is strawberry floating mental

Shame about 90% of what I do is just white because modernity.

Aye it's flourescent pink.

You could choose between a white or blue t-shirt but I went for the white since the one from last year's Hacktoberfest was blue.

I actually have a t-shirt with a shark on it  The head portion of the shark breaking through glass and there's lots of bright pink gloopy stuff breaking through with it. It's a pretty out there design.

Ordered a new monitor. currently have a 24" and decided to upgrade to this LG 34WN80C-B curved ultrawide 34" 3440 x 1440. May get a VESA mount for it depending on how much desk space I have.

Nice. Biggest thing I overlooked when buying my last monitor but which I will never forget about ever again: making sure it's height adjustable. I'm currently using a mailer box to give it extra height. But it doesn't stop there! I'm also propping the box itself so it leans back a bit so the screen has a slight upward tilt :fp: That's what you get when you buy stuff without doing research and go for a budget brand.

You can adjust the height of my current one but at its highest it's only slightly above eye level which is a bit annoying. Not sure if I'll keep this current one, it rotate so I can position it in portrait orientation which is handy for coding but I won't really have room for it and don't see the point in needing two monitors if I'm getting an ultrawide.

Terrible photo, but Elite Controller series 2.

So far so good. It feels strawberry floating amazing in the hand, heavy and clunky in just the right way with responsive triggers and nice buttons. The whole thing can be customised to death: it came with 6 different sticks, 4 back paddles, 2 d-pads and a little tool to adjust the tension on each stick (each has three settings from light to stiff). Through an app, every button can be reassigned to any function, including a shift key which gives every button a secondary function. It also comes with a magnetic charge station and everything fits in the wee carry case it came in.

Going from a dualshock to this is a bit of a shock though as I haven't used a 360/Xbox controller in a while. But the more I get used to it the more I can't see me ever using another controller as it just feels so strawberry floating good.

Unfortunately I did have to go ahead and purchase the separate PC/Xbox dongle as the Bluetooth connection was extremely spotty and after any kind of disconnect, including switching it over to wired play, meant a full reset was needed to reconnect. Bizarre.

I got it reconditioned from Argos so £120. The dongle was another £20. Brand new they're £160.

It's an...absurd amount for a controller but I came into a mini-windfall when I sold my 1070 for £200. Thought I'd treat myself.

Cool that it comes with a cross-shaped d-pad! I thought Nintendo had some patent on that

They did, it ran out some years ago now.
