Why do people leave the stickers on their caps?

There are two types of stickers: a large black circular one informing you of the fit/make of the cap, and a small silver hologram which shows it's an authentic product. I peel the black one off. Thankfully the silver one, if there is one, is always on the underside and so I leave that on. (For the sake of being able to prove it's legit if I ever decide to sell it on.) Although now that I think about it, I've not seen that black sticker in a while. (I accidentally left it on once and spent a whole day at college. Died of cringe when I got home and realised.)

EDIT: So, er, yeah... to prove authenticity, I think.

I love the fact it's flashy but with a earthy tone.

Surely every cap is "future-facing" as long as you wear it the right way round?

I really love the rounded look of the plant. And Grogu plush actually looks plush. (One I've seen on Zavvi looks about as plush as a fridge freezer.)

My Green Gables merchandise finally arrived today (it was shipped on 20th Jan) from Canada, and thankfully i didn't have to pay any import duty/customs fees which was a nice extra bonus.

I got a cup and coaster set, a pin badge, and a bookmark.

Got a fair few new houseplants this weekend some online and some from local nurseries:
This is a Sedum succulent known as Burro's tail. I just think it looks so neat.
Image Image

Got some note of these weird and wonderful Lithops aka living stone succulents. This garden centre had unbeatable prices!
Image

A Begonia Masoniana Iron Cross. Used to have one of these but it died so going to try again.
Image

Got these two cacti online:
A Lophocereus Schottii aka Totem Pole cactus. I have two smaller ones already but couldn't resist this large one! I love how sculptural it is.
Image Image

And this Echinocereus regidissimus aka Rainbow hedgehog cactus

Looks interesting. I've never even heard of it before, even in school never heard of the books.Must be good if you went to the effort of importing merch from abroad.

Ordered this

GMMK 60% mech keyboard. No idea when it'll come as they seem in quite short supply.

I've had a Corsair K70 for a few years now which is great for gaming with the super sensitive Cherry Silver switches but it's nigh on useless for typing. As I now type for a living, I thought I'd grab something more suitable.

Good thing about this board is it's totally customisable, including hotswappable key switches. It's basically the first step in what will inevitably become a new and expensive hobby.

I first discovered the story after watching the Netflix series Anne with an E, it's a fairly loose adaptation (they added characters and storylines not in the book), but most of the main content was included.

There are other more faithful adaptions out there too, the one with Martin Sheen in it is pretty decent.

Thanks I'll give it a watch since I'm after something new on Netflix.

I've been looking at getting a mechanical keyboard for a while. Currently have a full-size Apple Magic Keyboard but I barely ever use the number pad. I want a Keychron one but the one I want with the UK layout is out of stock. It'll be one of these two:

I was looking at the Keychron K6 before deciding swappable switches was a deal-breaker. The GMMK was the cheapest 60% I could find that had that feature.

Almost shelled out £200 for the Drop Alt but a few enthusiast videos convinced me it was all style over substance

Image

Probs still going to buy the Drop keycap set though. Looks lovely.

Also, I have no issue going with the US ANSI layout as it's infinitely easier to buy caps for.
