We all hate the jobs available in the modern world and so I think we should revive some of these.

I'm assuming that I would not be allowed to be a Lady's Companion and so I have set my sights on becoming a Sluggard Waker.

As church attendance is down, I'll have to expand the business to violently waking people up in other situations. Fall asleep in the cinema? WHACK on the head. An employee drifts off in a work meeting? I'll SMASH them in the face. Snooze on a train? I'll SLAP you when you're approaching your station.

What obsolete job would you want?

Most of them are to be honest.

Runemaster actually sounds pretty cool though. I would enjoy that I think.

I can picture the etsy shop now.

Some of those jobs are definitely not obsolete.

Germanic Seeress sounds suitably mystic.
