Years ago (I was around 2 or 3) my dad was approached by some preaching Mormons whilst trying (without success) to remove a rusted on bolt from underneath the car (oil tank iirc).

They walked up and said something along the lines of "Hello there, we're representatives from the Church of Latter Day Saints and we're here to help" to which my dad responded by saying £Great, you can get this bastard bolt out!" before handing one of them a spanner and walking back inside the house and shutting the door.

They didn't come back again.
