This show had even more of a downer ending than Cowboy Bebop. Ultimately the villain is defeated but only after the bitter failure of the protag and there is a huge cliff hanger. Hopefully there is new younger hero for whatever follows the Trump saga.

If, (and that is definitely a theoretical if) I was to hide a sex toy/drugs/stolen goods somewhere, I would probably construct some kind of secret compartment in the bottom of a wardrobe or set of drawers.

A shoe box is just too easy for someone to find.
