I love gooseberry fool christmas songs (I write enough of them), they make me feel really christmassy and remind me of Christmas shopping with my mum when I was little.

Agreed, the whole point of Christmas songs is to be a bit gooseberry fool but they bring back happy memories and it's impossible not to get swept up in the nostalgia of it all!

I still have traumatic flashbacks to working retail over Christmas.
Especially as I was on a customer service desk. On Boxing Day.

hearing the same xmas songs on loops for weeks on end is annoying as strawberry float. I work in retail still but where i work we are not as busy as other places thankfully this time of year. My previous job was crazy around this time of year big delivery's daily shop floor busy everyday was exhausting
