I was thinking this, because of where it is, the quality the ingredients will be (Nutella and Horlicks exclhded) the cost of the "service" that would come with in as it's just Margery in the Cafe cooking it and bringing it out, it doesn't seem "that" bad.

Agreed. Your average shitty café that serves a fry up for £5 is going to be using sausages which are basically just water and other junk, basic supermarket tomatoes with no flavour, and bacon that oozes water and shitty white smeg. £20 is obviously a little bit pricey, but it's bizarre it's got the reaction it has. Not all food tastes the same just because it is made up of similar ingredients.

I kind of agree, the prices might seem excessive to most of us mere mortals but when you think about how prestigious the Savoy is and how ridiculous London prices are anyway then it isn't that bad really.
