Is finding a shotgun, then hiding in a one-door room as quickly as you can with your gun pointed at the door a legit tactic? :shifty:

The aim is to survive so I see no reason why not. Could get a bit boring though.

Yep, but make sure it's a shotgun or and SK12 (auto shotgun) as it's one hit down/kill.

It's a legit tactic, you'll never win a game but you might get some kills.

I love the Kar98, it's so satisfying to get a kill with it, especially if you have a 6x or 8x scope.

To get longer 'down' time make sure you deselect Sanhok as that map is smaller and the circle come in quicker.

Changed my region to America and no problems with getting in fps matches, no lag either.

You're still at a major disadvantage, mates and I don't play the PUBG test stuff because it's only on US servers and in a game like this that can come down to one on one firefights in which every single shot matters, it's a huge disadvantage. Don't get me wrong, we've won a couple of CD's on US servers but its not feasible unless you like rage quitting.

Had one properly mental game last night.

First off was an insane vehicle mad max style fight, I was in a jeep alone, mate was in buggy and 2 others in another jeep, this from mates perspective. He shot gut off a bike. (I'm the guy who pulls up in jeep as I just missed him, then other mate runs him over)

Image

Then, not happy with that, same mate goes on to blow up a car:

Image

We ended up in a house that was centre of the circle so 2 other squads rocked up and it was a sh*tshow! First vid is me, 2nd is mate:

Check out flying man!

Image

Ended up with 10 bodies in that house, 2 of em belonging to us.

Image

Btw, we use one of the colour blind settings to make blood easier to detect hence it being purple, it also changes friends tags to green.

A few words from the PUBG HQ Team in Korea

From Koo Sung Jeong, PS4 Lead Project Manager:

“One of most memorable moments while developing PS4 PUBG was the first time we had 100 people join a test match. Before the test, the dev team’s mission was to deliver the finished product this year – it was a big challenge and it felt almost impossible. But as soon as we had 100 people drop in for the test, our confidence started to build and and we pushed ourselves harder to make everything happen. We are proud of the game we have created and can’t wait to get it into your hands!”

From Changmin Lee, PS4 Engineering Lead:

“It’s always exciting and tense presenting our work to the players as a developer. Getting our game into the hands of the PS4 community that haven’t experienced PUBG is a thrill equal to creating a new game. Everyone on the PS4 dev team have worked passionately on every single moment of the game to create a perfect experience for our players – we hope you all enjoy your journey on getting a chicken dinner!”

As we prepare for the official launch on 7th December, be sure to stay up to date on the latest news at our website and social channels. The team here at PUBG have worked tirelessly to bring our unique Battle Royale experience to this platform, and we can’t wait to start this new journey with you.

 just better point out I was joking. It's been my most played game since getting it on PC and then Xbone, but I won't lie its ugly as sin on console but it runs smooth at least now. Should never expect to see jaggies in something that's in 4K/HDR!

If it's cheap enough I'll likely get it on PS4 too just so I can be the prison Daddy on PS.
