You never know though, there was a chance I might have accidentally discovered that degreaser is like a magical cure for drift problems!

I tipped a whole cup of coffee over my desk, covering my PS4 DualShock pad :fp:

. I've cleaned it up and it still seems to be working okay. The touchpad pressing feels a bit janky, though :dread:

Good to hear. They seem almost impossible to source new last time I looked.

Sony are to stop releasing PS4 console sales numbers and the last reported total was 117.2m in March.

I suspect that sales are drying up a little quicker than expected as covid impacts on production have meant that few consoles have been available for a while now.

What a console, though. It stands as my favourite one ever and right now I'm still using it as my main system. There are just so many great games for it.

Seriously though jawa just set up your PS5 in place of your PS4 and then you can have the exact same experience but with much better load times.

I just haven't got into my PS5 at all yet and I've had it for a year this month. This may sound odd but the biggest cause for this is that I've got used to sitting close (too close :shifty:

) to the smaller TV on my desk whilst playing on my consoles and, using the PS5 with my living room TV, I find that game text is often too small to read. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

Some games do have an option to increase the text sizes. Also, Orange is right about that you could use PS5 instead of PS4 as it'll be much quicker with benefits of the SSD speed.

Yeah, true, although I'm the kinda guy that likes to have all my games accessible (even though I hardly play any of 'em!) and SSD space is tight. I guess I could move my PS5 to my desk area but then I'd lose the 4K benefits.

I think I just need to get used to playing at more of a distance from the screen.
