My PS4 had an issue on the weekend and I ended up having to reinstall back to factory settings from a USB stick.

So it appears that for some reason I turned off automatically uploading saves to the cloud few years ago. God knows why. :fp: I didn't realise they weren't backing up, I think I've lost all my save data from the last four years or so. :(

Maybe they stopped uploading because you hit the limit? (Limit being 100 GB or 1000 files.)

Though the more likely explanation is PSN just being gooseberry fool for no real reason.

I’ve got a list of the games I’d missed out on by not having a PS4. I intended buying physical versions, one at a time, playing to completion and trading in before buying the next in order to avoid building up a backlog. But the summer sale is too good to miss. Uncharted 4 £8, Horizon: ZD complete edition £10.

But I’m sure God of War was £8 a couple of days ago. It’s saying £16 now.

Yeah, those PlayStation Hits often go down in price outside of a sale. So hold off buying it and I'm sure it'll be down to £8 again soon enough.

Yes, would have been nice to have at that price, but no rush.

I'm almost certain i have this right, but someone please correct me if not -

I own 2 PS4's (go me), but do not have PS+. Does that mean i have to transfer save data using a USB stick if i want to resume play on my other PS4? It feels like it would be easier for me just to remote play the game on my iPad / Vita (but more likely iPad due to the horrible vita analogue sticks and lack of 5ghz) when i can't use the main room /tv. I guess remote play on PC would be the obvious answer (the second room is an office type affair), but our PC takes about 45 minutes to "warm up", and i cant run the app on the work laptop my wife has.

Cloud saves are still behind a pay wall right?

Along with Hitman 2, Dead Cells (one of my games of the gen) and Greed Fall being live on PS Now already, Sony will also be adding extra games as the month goes along. The extras are... The Sinking City, Power Rangers Battle for the Grid, AO Tennis 2, Pure Farming 18, WRC 8, and Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. :toot: Hooray for competition!

Keeping expectations low for the State of Play. But it being 40 mins is pretty hefty.

Here's a question, the hell happened to all the old stuff PSN used to have? A few times this month I've trawled its wares and found nothing to catch my fancy at all. I miss the PS3 days when you could download Tombi, God Hand, Code Veronica etc. Xbox suffers from this too but Game Pass does soften the blow some. Also Nintendo dumping the Virtual Console = no.

Oh god, that horrible moment when a game is delivered, and you can hear the disc rattling around inside the case. Please don't let God of War be scratched to buggery.

I hate this. Fair few PS1 games I had on my PS3 PSN Account gone forever because the PS4 can’t play them.

Actual strawberry floating download size: 32GB

Dunno but its really strawberry floating dumb. The COD Warzone thing was supposed to be a 10gb download but the actual size of the whole thing was over 100gb.

“Prince of Persia: Remake“ has turned up on a Guatemalan retailer. Listed for PS4 but probably for all systems. Lost track the number of times they’ve rebooted this franchise but I wouldn’t mind The Sands Of Time.
