Death Stranding is bloody awesome.

But I have to be careful in recommending it to anyone. It’s batshit crazy at times.

I loved it. I don’t regret buying it the day it comes out. The only flaw I find is that the ending needs a proper editor or a person who can sit Kojima down and say “no” to his face.

Ending spoiler:

You are on a empty coast, right next to the sea. You can run and run until you collapse and went back to where you started. Repeat. repeat until something happens. All of this happens when a long ass end credits is rolling. Really VERY long ass list of people zooming up before your eyes. It’s bloody awful. You have to bear with it as you are scared of missing a final cut scene.

Other than that, the story is bonkers and enjoyable.

Thanks. It certainly sounds like my sort of game. I really dont like any of the MGS games (well i liked 1 at the time) because i generally hate stealth games (at least stealth games were there is no real plan b guns blazing option). Everything i have read said that this only has a minimal amountof stealth, so i would be judging it on its own merit, rather than as a huge fan of Kojima's other works (Snatcher was ace though).

It appears that some Japanese retailers have been advised by Sony that production of some PS4 models has ended, including the PS4 500GB Glacier White, PS4 1TB Jet Black, PS4 1TB Glacier White, PS4 2TB Jet Black, and PS4 Pro 1TB Glacier White.

Amazon UK doesn't have any PS4 systems in stock. Argos has the PS4 500Gb model whilst GAME has the 500Gb and 1TB systems available. PS4 Pro consoles seem to have been unavailable at major retailers for a while now.

Probably a revised model that outwardly looks a bit more like the ps5.

A friend of mine picked up a 500gb one recently and he’s forever having to shuffle and manage content on it. I mean, Tekken 7 is like 50-odd gig...Tekken! Should have phased them out ages ago.

Argh! PS4 UI annoyance number 592: why the strawberry float can't I pin apps to the main screen?!?!

Started using the PS4 to watch stuff on All4 recently but there's no way to put the bloody thing on the first screen so I have to go into the library every single time I want to use the chuffing thing!

I think the most recently used items should appear first, Jen?

You can create folders, too, to group stuff together.

I'm pretty sure Disney+ paid Sony money to appear first in that list of streaming apps too. It's very annoying.

Another take on this I read was that it's so they can use the resources to make more PS5s.

Thought I would only sink in a handful of hours into GreedFall before putting it down but I ended up just playing through the whole game. Started out really underwhelming but little things I liked began adding up and I felt inclined to see it through. Really dunno where to start with this game. I think it has a ton of great ideas but they're all buried under odd choices. GreedFall really needed to be left in the oven a while longer. You can tell it was on a limited budget. I kept seeing things that had so much potential to be greater, which part of the reason I stuck with the game.
Easily my favourite thing about GreedFall was the setting. One huge props I can give it was the art style which was consistent from start to finish, even if it did feel a bit "same-y" but never really turned me off. It has this painted world effect which is really nice and fits the era it's based on. There's nothing worse than a game you play and wanted to love but it kept giving you reasons not to. It's honestly perfect for PS plus. Don't think I would have played this otherwise.

I really should just buy a new Dual Shock controller, but then part of me thinks that is sinking money into a system that I'm just going to replace with a PS5 at some point anyway!

I would be surpirsed if Far Cry 5 or New Dawn makes the PS+ cut this year as well.
