Mine goes back a long way too, scrolled for quite some time before I got bored and stopped. Apologies if this has been covered, but have yo rebuilt you databases recently?

It doesn't delete anything or mess up your folders, perfectly safe and piss easy to do.

I think I'll pick up a PS+ sub, seeing as they're £35 again. Maybe.

Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition for £15.99 get. Was given a £20 top up last month so been waiting to use it on Detroit.

Start in safe mode; hold down the power button on the console, select rebuild data bases, away you go.

Thanks, Samuel! I guess the process will take a while (I have a 4Tb USB drive connected) so I think I'll set it running overnight tonight. If all goes well, I'll do my other PS4 the following night!

Just one caveat, I've never done it with an external HDD, perhaps read up on this first.

Says will take hours but it won't. I performed one after getting Days Gone to see if it would sort out heavy frame drops in the game and my homescreen being laggy, which it did and was very quick (Mines 2tb)

"I'm excited apprehensive about this!". I'm gonna give it a go, but I won't kick off the process until I've finished my Dark Souls stream later today. I'm hoping it'll then complete overnight.

So... I did the Database Rebuild and that only took a few minutes. However, it has been a bit "exciting" after that:

I wouldn't bother - I tried it back when you first mentioned the problem and it did nothing. I didn't mention it earlier in case it worked for you, but clearly this is a issue on Sony's end, though it only seems to affect some people. I actually looked up one of my alt accounts on my console just now (finally found the password to get online ), and my brother's console a few days ago, and they all have the same issue. Asked about it on RE and a couple of people have the issue there too.

Yeah, I don't think I'll do it on my other machine, SoK. It does seem to be something on Sony's server that is causing the issue; I still only have four things on the Activity Feed (all from the past 24 hours) and clicking refresh (triangle) doesn't change that. Ho-hum; it's frustrating but at least games function okay.

Strange that mine seems to be okay.

Also get Detroit. It's excellent, if a bit trope heavy if you are a big fan of sci-fi robots & A.I.
