PlayStation 4 Chat III: You've Never Seen Chat Like It

Sometimes I'm not too sure what people want Sony to do. If it's not AAA games it's "we want AAA games" and if it is then it's "but I already have that".

Anyway, I'm alright with this month. Completed all three Uncharted games on PS3 but haven't played the remasters. As I have played them all and there's only so many hours in the day, I might start at 2.

I'd like to see more obscure, less popular titles appear more regularly via PSN+. The problem with big hitters like Uncharted, as good as the series is, is the majority will have already played them at some point, remastered or no.

That said I got into a habit of just adding games to my library on the old account knowing full well I'd never probably get around to them due to my already huge back catalogue. My daughter now owns said account and given that the games she plays online doesn't require PSN+ I doubt the sub will be renewed once it ends mid January.

I currently don't have a subscription with my new PSN account.

Same here. Mine is due up very shortly. It's £50 that I don't need to spend right now.

TBH, losing access to the Plus games might clear the decks a bit and enable me to focus on actually playing the stuff I paid for separately.

My PS+ lapsed in December 2017, haven't missed it once.

I'd like that too, although I'd imagine the "Where's the AAA games?" mob would go crazy. They did this earlier on in the current generation.

Regarding Uncharted, I played them all on PS3 and have the same sort of backlog as most people, so I decided I wouldn't add to that by getting these "again". I reckon there might be quite a few people to whom that applies? Same with the Crash and Spyro trilogies, and I can see them being future giveaways.

I'd like to see less pandering to the online gaming mob from the industry in 2020

I'm not sure why but I think I'm going to buy the Dualshock 4 back button when it gets released :shifty:

It looks gimmicky af but I don't think it'll be useless – not if they've designed it properly so your fingers would naturally fall on the 2 additional buttons. And don't you play a online a lot? Will be dead handy for when they release TLoU2 MP

I just wish they would focus on making the controller itself better rather than releasing gimmicky gooseberry fool like this back button.

I had my PS4 less than a month before the left stick started developing random inputs/twitching and from a quick google it's apparently a very common problem. :fp:

Well fix that then.

I like that when I use my PS4 controller on Steam I can disable the light but when using it on the official system it has to always be on! :lol:

They're not fixing anything, it's to make it forwards compatible with PS5.

Makes sense - it's arguably the most popular game on the system and it's 6 minutes a half.
