Seems unusual, Preezy - I guess you checked in notifications / downloads? If there's nothing there, you could go into settings / storage and see if the two games are listed there.

Yeah nothing in downloads/notifications, but I'll check the storage settings and see what's there. Cheers jawa

There was nothing in storage settings that alluded to any issue, so I deleted and reinstalled the game and still got the same issue. No idea what to do.

Have you tried deactivate the console as your primary console then activated it again?

If it persists, try to defrag your console, try again. If that doesn’t work, then you may need to factory reset your console. Wipe the whole thing, go through setting it up and try again.

If still have the same issue, I would contact Sony and enquire what’s happening, and tell them all the steps you have done. But who knows what sort of stupid advice they’ll give to you though.

Ah strawberry float that, too much effort. I'll just abandon those 2 games and move on with my life

Thanks for the tips though

I think it's been brought up before but what's the deal with this 'copying' business when you download updates?

I was updating Spider-Man the other night and it downloaded under 500mb really quick but then sits for ages on the copying screen....feels like it goes up a % every 5 minutes :?

Yeah, it's increasingly frequent on the PS4 now. I think it could be due to:

a) The game update process; it can take ages to implement some updates if the overall game file space usage is high
b) Some kind of file defragmentation process being undertaken (i.e. files being moved around on the hard drive to make them quicker to access)

It may be a combination of both. Either way, yes, it results in updates taking ages for some games!

It’s really annoying, hopefully this is something they nip in the bud for PS5

They need to or it's going to look even worse given all the fuss they've made about the super speedy game loading.

I hope Ps5 lets me use all my available space on my HDD. Fed up of being told not enough space on either the internal or external HDDs despite there being anything from 80-110 Gb showing as “available”

My official PlayStation "Wireless Stereo Headset 2.0" (original "Gold") set of cans are gradually being trashed. The faux leather covering on the earcovers is just falling apart, with little black bits falling off everywhere.

A bit frustrating as, in terms of comfort and sound, I like them.

The ones they did before the gold series have done the same for me so they are now unusable (along with the built in batteries dying). Typical sony crap.

Can you get replacement pads, like you can for normal over-ear headphones?

I sold my PlayStation 2.0 headphones a number of years ago because I didn’t trust the plastic band.

Sound quality was great though, which I’m guessing is where the costs went at the expense of the rest of it. But look at the massive price difference between these mass market PlayStation branded ones (which Sony don’t appear to advertise at all on their website like some sort of bastard child) and the vast majority of “Sony” branded ones.

It’s not like they did much with the 3D audio gimmick either.

Do the headphones plug straight into the controller? I got some Astro headphones buried in a cupboard somewhere I wouldn’t mind using again.

There is a jack on the controller for wired headphones.

Mine have gone the same way and word of warning it can happen to your VR headset due to sweat. I always made sure I wiped mine down after a good VR sesh.

I have seen some replacements covers on eBay, Lime, but they they're sent from China and I'm not too sure what the quality is like.

I might try and peel the remaining covering off, wear 'em into the ground and then get something new.

Oh boy, I definitely wouldn't want this happening to my PSVR headset. I'm panicking now, Kj!

Yeah now I'm going to be sketching about that. My vive headphones may also suffer in the long term :dread:

The trick is to vomit after playing VR so it puts you off ever putting the headset on again 8-)

I bought some for a pair of Technics headphones from a Chinese seller last year - they were excellent, and the headphones are like new now. I can PM the seller details if you are interested, he is still going. He also answered a pre-sale query I had very quickly.
