The complete first season of Hitman was added to my dash automatically a few weeks ago. I turned on the PS4 and I was like 'hang on a minute, I didn't download this!'

It was a PSPlus free game last year, right? Excellent game, had a LOT of fun with it.

Cities Skylines is coming to PSPlus! If you haven't played it yet, give it a go asap as it's the greatest SimCity game ever made!

My city now features the Modern Japan DLC...

Is it as satisfying as building a town in Animal Crossing? I mean, i'm sure it's far more intricate and detailed but, y'know...

It could well be my most played game of this entire generation, i've spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours playing it.

I highly recommend giving it a go.

I can confirm that Cities Skylines is amazing.
I have it on Xbox with most of the DLC and it's the most relaxing and satisfying game I've played in years. Even just doing a sandbox game with unlimited cash to try and create utopias is great.

I have it on PC and it's pretty good, although I'm rubbish at making big sprawling cities that look good and are efficient. I go through waves every few months of trying again, then giving up after a couple of weeks at my lack of skill. Mods really help, which will be one downside of console unfortunately.

I've not got that yet but will the next time I decide to have a Skylines binge.

As good as Sim City 4?

I'd say this is better than Sim City.
It's already good on console but if you can get it on PC you can get loads of extra stuff like amazing traffic management which adds to the realism massively. The cities you can make can be huge and the diversity is pretty amazing. The game can be as deep or shallow as you like and some of the cities I've seen online and the time involved in making it using all the realistic money, laws and ordinances is amazing.

Just noticed it’s available on MacOS, so I’ll add it to the (surprisingly long) list of games I’ll be able to play on that when I finally purchase a MacBook. I think it’ll be much better via a mouse.

It is better with a mouse, but it's surprisingly fine with a pad. They did a real good job on the port.

I never thought I'd say this, but Farming Simulator 19 is fantastic in multiplayer. Spent about three hours on it earlier :slol: Everyone settles into their own little roles and the hours fly by. The fact it's six players make it perfect for our little game group. Need more games that move past the four player cap.

Started playing cities... it’s hard. I don’t understand how to turn/merge the two roads coming off the highway into one road for starters... game doesn’t really explain it either

If you mean when you first start and you want to join to the bits of highway that are cut off on the edge of your boundary - just connect a road to it. I tend to use a one way road, so it's going from 3 lanes to 2 rather than 3 to 1. I then have 'estates' branch off from this dual carriage way, which use regular two way traffic.

Try not to worry too much about that not feelings right/realistic. Later in the game you'll get access to highway road types, with one of them being on-ramps which is probably what you were expecting.

I downloaded it, saw how much DLC was being shoved in my face then uninstalled it before even playing :simper:

You don't need to download the DLC for this to be a great game and at least give it a try before dismissing it.

All the DLC does is expand the game and I'm unsure why expanding a game that has been popular and played for years is a bad thing.
The cities games aren't made often and I think they get 3 DLC packs a year which adds new assets like transport options.

I happily played it for a year before downloading any dlc.
