Does anyone else feel like we are never going to get to the point where a ps5 is just available on a shop shelf. It would be nice to see somewhere like smyths just put stock into stores rather than allow online purchase.

Probably won't happen for a while yet the way the various shortages are affecting so many different industries. But hopefully we'll hear more soon about Sony selling directly to customers in Europe.

That for the save file? Yeah I deleted the PS4 version while the DC PS5 version was downloading and thinking I could just carry on my save file, well, I was wrong there. You need to upload your save to the server but thats in game not the PS+ Cloud save and it doesn't recognise the save file still on the internal drive. New game it is then Totally forgot how damn beautiful Death Stranding is.

Yup. There's also this quirk, where, if you haven't cleared certain missions, the game won't let you do the transfer until those missions are completed. On the PS4. Also, you can only transfer the file via one of two in game terminals in the Death Stranding world. Digital Foundry covered it and it all sounds unnecessary convoluted af / totally Kojima-esque.

I've set PS5 sound to 3D TV speakers. I can hear the difference - the soundscape is wider - but I wouldn't say it soundss particularly 3D to me.

Got the Pulse 3D PS5 headset today and I gotta say it’s actually pretty great. The 3D sound seems more impressive than other surround sound software I’ve tried with other headsets. I’m playing Death Stranding DC and Ghost of Tsushima atm and the experience is enhanced with these headphones. Not too bad for around £80 - certainly better than I expected. Downsides I would say is the mic sound quality isn’t too great in wireless mode but if you connect the wired audio cable that comes in the box (along with the usb charging cable) the mic quality improves a lot - just a shame it’s not the same without the audio cable. Does anyone else have them or used them?

These are really comfy and don't put pressure on my ears causing them to hurt after prolonged use like some headphones can do. The headband is a thick rubber band that stretches to your head shape/size and the ear cups are large soft cushioned cups. They don't feel like they add any pressure on the ears. My DT 990 Pros for example do really clamp to my the head even though they are superior build quality and in general considered better headphones - for music listening/studio at least (with an amp ofc). But for general gaming and more specifically PS5 I reckon these are a solid deal. Also can use them on PC and other consoles.

Quite possibly the worst lineup of Plus games since I've been subscribed, but to be fair there are plenty of similarly gooseberry fool months to pick from.
