How is it you have exclusive access, through your account or through a link in the email?

If it's your account, then just go directly to the website and you don't need to worry if the email is legit or not because you'll never click anything in it.

If you have to use the link, be more wary and check what the link actually looks like - if you copy the link location you can check it's not actually sending you to a different website than you'd expect.

It's a link in the email that goes to psdirect-queue.playstation which sounds reasonably genuine. Wasn't sure if anyone else had had anything similar or if everyone's already got PS5s now!

Definitely can't afford one but if it *is* legit then it's still tempting

Hmm, the URL for purchasing from Sony seems to be https://direct.playstation.com/ which is a bit different

Ps4 cleared down and entertainment unit dusted. I think I have enough room to have it horizontal, but I fear it may look ghastly. The Quest 2 should at least match somewhat. Will set up tomorrow, as luck would have it I have a day off.

Great stuff, kaz! I have my PS5 set up horizontally and I reckon it looks pretty swish. I've heard a few folk suggest that the horizontal stand is a bit wobbly but, if you line it up just right, it's solid.

Thanks man. And yes, your right, I need to make sure I keep playing Metroid. All the game of the year talk should keep me interested. Plus it’s great of course.

Ps5 all set up (horizontal ) and not looking terrible. Played some Astro which is great (as everyone has been saying). UI seems nice and slick, like the controller effects, really adds to the immersion.
