I've been watching a few vids - including Digital Foundry's - comparing Uncharted on PS4 and PS5... and I can't really see that much difference. I get that YouTube isn't the best way of seeing the improvements or frame rate enhancements but the changes seem to be pretty minor.

They basically wanted something to coincide with the movie.

They could have easily done The Complete Collection here, but: didn’t have enough time to do the work necessary (especially on the Vita version); didn’t want to spend any money on it; didn’t want to take away any minuscule sales of the Nathan Drake Collection on PS4.

It's amazing how things change. Sony were pretty dominant last gen and - IMHO - generally had a good vibe around them. This past year or so, despite the popularity of PS5, they seem to be doing things that cause less good vibes. I hope they sort themselves out.

I agree Jawa. I hope there's a resolution soon because Microsoft have absolutely set the standard with regards to cross-gen and game pass. Sony are not even close imo.

Picked up that Uncharted Collection thing this morning. I already had UC4, so £10 for the extra game and the "upgrade" made it an easy choice. Maybe I will load my UC4 save data and play it through with the mirror mode cheat unlocked - that probably makes it feel a bit different. In truth I can hardly remember anything about it except for an excellent tribute to a very special pirate.

It's a shame they have not patched in gyro aiming though - it's excellent in TLoU2. Maybe there is a bit too much gun play in these titles for it to work as well? Or maybe it will be released as a patch just as I finish the game(s).

Turns out you only need one to get both and I’d had the season pass for 4 which had gotten me Lost Legacy when it was released. Opted for a Digital upgrade over disc.

This is my scenario. I have the "upgrade" available for £10.

I have a feeling this will be on plus pretty soon as they'll need a high profile game to put on the upgraded service.

I can't upgrade because I "only" have the PS Plus version . I'm gonna load the game up on my Pro and then stand my PS5 in front of it... no difference and I've saved a tenner! .

I wasn't going to bother with the upgrade as I've just watched my son replay Uncharted 4. However he wants to see the movie, and I believe you get a free cinema ticket with the upgrade, so that cancels out the cost.
