Demos of the past were/are something completely different, and were often of unfinished software and produced months in advance. I don't see this happening here, though we'll find out for sure shortly.

I briefly dug out my copy of Tekken 2 a couple of months ago and bloody hell does it feel heavy and cumbersome compared to 3 onwards. Would take sustained play to get used to again, I think.

Are these games going to be retrofitted with trophies? Would at least give a reason to replay them again or choose over the disc copy. There’s the novelty of playing with the DualSense too, I guess.

I picked up Arise: A simple Story for £7 on eshop



Its not a new PS game but heard of because it was recently on Switch, and its cheaper on PS store. Arty platformer with about loss and grieving (like all the other indies) looks right up my street

Speaking to others outside of Grcade I don't actually think the back catalouge as impressive as it is for some is a huge draw or appeal for people. I'd love to dive in and out I suppose a few games here and there, particularly if I never got too back in the day, but I'd probably just end up using the service to replay MGS1 and such a few times a year and that would be it.
