Anyone had an issue with games not copying properly? I got a loan of Ratchet and Clank from friends but it keeps freezing up at 93% copied and won't go any further. It's definitely not a disc issue, either!

Are you able to copy other disc(s) to your PS5, Cora? Or, deleting another disc game and then re-installing it? That may help define if the issue is with the disc or the SDD. Could even try a PS4 disc, as well.

I've not got anything else to install! I don't own a PS4 and my only other on-disc game has been on there for months already. I know Ratchet and Clank tried to install an update alongside the copy, so I don't know if that's got something to do with it?

I miss the days of just being able to put a disc in and play the damn game.

Maybe you could try deleting the one disc title you own and re-installing it, Cora? It might help identify if the issue is the Ratchet disc or your console?

Sounds like someone is on the look out for some excellently priced ps5 games.

Had that with Demon's Souls at launch. My console's db was corrupted during part of the system transfer from PS4. Factory reset resolved it, if you don't mind redownloading everything and have PS+ to back your saves up to the cloud beforehand.

I tried that about half an hour ago(not worried about saves, I've legit only gotten out of the first level on Miles Morales, nothing to recover for Persona 5 or DS), it came up with the same error when I went back in, then fifteen minutes later has just randomly downloaded the rest of the game. How odd. :lol:

The thing about GeForce Now (and the reason I really don't understand why some publishers were delisting games from it), is that you're literally just renting a PC in the cloud, albeit with some of the interface and options removed, but I'm sure there's ways to get just about anything running on there.

Not to mention, I can just make a shortcut on my desktop, add it to GFE as a custom Gamestream title, give it whatever title and cover art I want (Bayonetta 3), and when I log into GeForce Now, that title and art appears there right beside the rest of the cloud stream games, so obviously, it's storing the info I entered in their databases.

I've been saying for ages console manufacturers are leaving stacks of cash of the table by not releasing older exclusives elsewhere. Both in terms of software sales and creating potential new console owners for themselves.
