Hitman's approach to "social stealth" makes it a bit of a different customer to your average stealth game

Hitman 3 (and the first two) isn’t that punishing like Splinter Cell games, unless you went on a killing rampage that is.

Think it of a giant puzzle level with several solutions to achieve your goal.

I absolutely do not need any more games in my backlog but with the Metro Saga being only £25 in the sale felt rude not to.

Will I ever play it? Probably not.

That really is a great trilogy and it's nice that the bundle includes the Gold edition of Exodus.

I made a fresh start on No Man's Sky this evening... and it looks so good in 4K . I've been wanting to get back into NMS for a while and this PS5 version feels like a super-slick way to return to it. The detail and colour are tremendous; I love the styling. It took me a wee while to get used to the controls again but I'm picking them up.

I find No Man's Sky so hard to get into, and I treid starting it 2 times. It makes me feel stupid (which is probably not far from the truth)

Yeah, it can be rather tough at first, Drej. I wonder if you've tried it recently, though? The start has been re-jigged and you now gain pretty clear guidance on what to collect and build in order to be able to travel from that first planet.

I would say, though, that if the randomised planet that you start on is super toxic, just restart and try a different planet. Yesterday I was initially placed on a planet with around 60% toxicity which is just grim when you're starting out. I rolled the die again and got a far more comfortable planet to start on. It's a bit ironic that the start can be hectic and busy whilst, in general, the game is pretty chill.

I'm really impressed by the graphics. I haven't played the game since before quite a few of the past big updates and the variety and detail is super. There are so many fresh additions to the game and I'm excited about going out and exploring.

Yeah I was planning to give it a go when I received my PS5 and that I did, but as you said the planet it put me on was pretty toxic and had immediate problems to move around and said maybe its just me not clicking with it.

I just gave up as back then I was in a sort of frenzy to try all my back catalogue, but will keep it in mind for when there is a slow period.

When you unlock a trophy, the 14 second video clip…how do I stop the console from doing that?
And I’m deleting these clips, but I’m 99% sure they keep coming back! I’ve deleted the same Avengers ones about 3 times now, what gives?

I think you go into Captures or whatever its called where you view saved vids/screenshots and change the settings there in capture settings, if its not there it will be in the main settings menu.

How to Turn Off Automatic Trophy Recording:

Go to Settings. It's the wedge icon in the upper right corner of the home screen.

Select Captures and Broadcasts.

Select Trophies and toggle off the automatic recording.

Yeah, I updated the trophy recordings on my PS5. You can set things by trophy type and I changed it to record/screenshot just Gold/Platinum... which is gonna by extremely rare on my account!

Now that the PS5 has been out a while I think it's about time we started speculating about the Mid Gen refresh and what it can bring to all our games.

I'm hoping for 50% more triangles.

Ended up buying three games this morning. Quake, Burnout Paradise City Remastered, Castlevania SotN&RoB.

I already have too many games on the go at once

The console’s equivalent to the Xbone SX’s Quick Resume is way quicker, astonishing speed to get back into the game. Shame you have to leave the console in rest mode.
A bit fiddly to turn the console and pads off though, you can’t just hold the centre button down on the pad to bring up the turn off menu.
Hadn’t seen much action since I bought it but it might have its claws in me now, lovely machine.
