Definitely, get yourself a USB drive and stick Autobleem on it with as many games as you can fit on the drive. Sorted.

Finally got around to modding this, the new version of Bleemsync just came out so I went with that. Have put the following extras on my USB stick so far,

Breath of Fire IV
Chrono Cross
Die Hard Trilogy
Dino Crisis 1 & 2
G Police
GTA London
Parasite Eve 1 & 2
Persona 2 - Eternal Punishment
Policenauts
Spider-Man
Vagrant Story
Xenogears

Seems to be going ok from what I've tried so far.
Haven't tried any of the Retroarch stuff yet for emulating other consoles.

Bleemsync 1.1 includes OTG support as well apparently, so you can move the USB to an OTG adapter on the back and be able to use the second controller port.

Has this been modded to be able to have analogue stick support at all? Is that even possible?

Haha. Will they throw in a giant Sports Direct mug as well?

Holy strawberry float that's tempting.

Mostly for that strawberry floating cool bag...

I have such little interest in playing any of the games, but hot damn do I want the console sat on a shelf, along with all the other kit in that collector's edition. Hnnngggg

Ah nuts, I've cracked and bought this.

Anyone tried connecting a different controller to it with one of those 8bit do things?

Also, I see Amazon are selling preloaded extra game packs that you just plug into the second USB controller slot - something called True Blue . Got to be worth a punt, right?

True blue sounds like a pregnancy test. I'm also tempted though, bloody nostalgia!

The stupid thing is, I bought it after a few beers when I started to panic it might run out.

But surely it will never run out, and will end up being buried in the desert next to all those ET games.

I also forgot I was away all week, so no doubt it will be 'delivered' in plain view right on my doorstep, or carefully placed into the 'general rubbish' bin as with previous deliveries.

But that True Blue Mini thing promises a hundred games preloaded, so long as you pee on it, if I understand things correctly.

I was laughing at the chumps who've wasted time and money on this but £36 for the bag and the little console seems like good value! I would use it for work.

So how hard is it to dump games on one of these do you just dump an iso or bin or something on a USB stick once the software is on it, or do you use a programme to do it for you or? I put a stick with bleem on it and saw that running on it but then with other things didn't get round to reading what to do next etc, if its easy I'll look into it if it a ball ache I will just keep bunging my ps1 discs in my ps3.

I used Bleemsync on mine and it was really easy to transfer games.

You can either dump the ISO and CUE file into the folder named "transfer" on your USB stick, which it then reads on boot and moves them to the games folder once they're indexed, or you can use a web gui to transfer them directly from your PC and set custom info/covers on them.

Autobleem seems to be the better one now, and using a complete package includes all covers for either Pal, Jap or US regions. Same thing with putting the bin and cue file in a folder, I converted the majority of my roms to PBP format.

I can't find any hard confirmation on proper dualshock support for games like Ape Escape, but the consensus seems to be that the 8BitDo wireless adapter will allow you to use PS4 controllers, and the D-pad will map to the left analog stick when using Bleemsync.

I think Retroarch supports analogue sticks if you use the PSX emulation core in it.

I'm having issues with autobleem, sometimes it doesnt see the boxart and crashes on load up, or the controller doesnt work when I do load up a game. Trying a different usb stick tomorrow
