I used Bleemsync on mine and it was really easy to transfer games.

You can either dump the ISO and CUE file into the folder named "transfer" on your USB stick, which it then reads on boot and moves them to the games folder once they're indexed, or you can use a web gui to transfer them directly from your PC and set custom info/covers on them.

Autobleem seems to be the better one now, and using a complete package includes all covers for either Pal, Jap or US regions. Same thing with putting the bin and cue file in a folder, I converted the majority of my roms to PBP format.

I'm having issues with autobleem, sometimes it doesnt see the boxart and crashes on load up, or the controller doesnt work when I do load up a game. Trying a different usb stick tomorrow

Make sure you're using a USB 2.0 stick. USB 3.0 sticks are reportedly very hit and miss.

The stick I used was USB 3.0, this one from Amazon. There's the odd rare time it would seem like Autobleem hadn't loaded because it would boot to the carousel with only the 20 pre-installed games appearing but you (Or me in that case) would need to wait and then it would kick in and load Autobleem. Majority of time it was instant though.

I set up autobleem last night and added 4 games just as a tester, yeah it works well. I am using a purple full sized USB stick by integral , I wanted to use this tiny tiny minature one I have as you'd hardly see it but it didn't work which is a shame as it looked great, its silver and about the size of a fingernail so would have been almost unnoticeable. Oh well at least its working with the other stick

I've just got an 8bit do USB adapter, which I believe let's me use a PS4 controller on this. Although I'm not entirely sure.

And a True Blue mini 'crack' pack from amazon. Its a USB stick preloaded with a hundred or so PS games, for those of us who have no idea what an autobleem might be and just want to plug in and press 'On' instead. They're £20, but do also come with a USB hub adapter, so you can still play 2 player, even when one port of the machine is taken up with the stick.

I imagine it's all brilliant, although can't say for sure as apparently it's been delivered to my neighbour, including the PS classic itself, and they are either out or pretending to be. I am in difficult territory with them due to a gardening dispute. So why sign for my parcel then, eh? The absolute scoundrels.

The main thing I like about the whole shebang (or, expect to like, more precisely) is that this is an offline console. So a USB add on like this should work forever, with no chance of an update coming along and wiping everything out. I imagine.

Still, if it doesn't doesn't work or is rubbish, at least I get a Playstation themed mug to impress the ladies with.

I have 20 games added to mine now, I considerd getting one of those sticks off amazon just cause of the fact its like 100 games all ready to use with no effort. I would be interested in knowing what's on one.

Probably similar to those '52-in-1' GBA carts that are mostly homebrew games and several hacked versions of Pokemon.

Nope, they're all playstation games. The lists are on their website.

Well, apparently. It hasn't arrived yet.

I orderd one from eBay that was £16 just figured why the heck not. Having just read the list of what's on it I'm happy enough if that's really what's on it. Figured for that sort of cash its worth it to lower my effort, and if I want to play a specific game I'll download it for my other card but this is a good way to get a bunch with of games for it easily.

I tell you what, I absolutely love how this machine looks. I know the software was a disappointment, but I'd say if you can find one for £30 or so you'll be glad you got one, even if it's just to put it on a shelf and caress it now and then.

I've also got a USB stick that let's me use a DS4 on this: it makes all the difference convenience wise

And now I'm so chuffed with this; if you can get it for less than £40 I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Being able to add controllers and emulation stuff is the icing on the cake, but even without that it's a beautiful machine.

I think I was guilty of writing this off before on the basis of all the negative press it had, and certainly at £99 you'd feel conned. But at the price it's going for now, I'd have no regrets

OK so my TrueBlue Mini meth pack arrived and theyve been a little clever the usb key is in a format not recognised by windows, you put it in windows and windows wants to reformat it.... this is annoying as I mostly got mine in order to get the cues and bins off it, however use a tool that can read linux formatted drives and it looks like you can get them, im currently trying to get them off right now...

The blue itself is ok it appears to be using an early bleemsync build no retroarch and while the keys in you cant see the games on the actual machine just those on the true blue.... In honesty I think I will get the games off it and then just format it and shove auto bleem on it as I prefer that myself. I thought this info might be of use to others

I suspect that is probably good advice, especially for people who are even minimally tech savvy, or can wait for a pot noodle to cool down for the requisite 2 minutes.

However, mine finally arrived after a delivery snafu, and I finally plugged it in.

With the classic as it stands, it's a beautiful machine with a terrible emulator and a mess of badly judged games.

You can probably enjoy it even so (and at around £35 it's worth it), but I was surprised by how bad some of these things looked - Rayman, for example, was a fun example, but everything still looks blurry and plays slowly. And the games list is terribly thin.

So, without having to mess about soldering things, or farting about online, this stick (the True Blue; crack pack) has improved things hugely. I'm not sure the emulation is much better, because it still looks blurry on a proper TV.

That said, and most importantly for me, I've just had a really chortlesome hour playing Bust a Move 2 and Wipeout 3, and a few others I had way back then. There are a stack of games on there you'd be delighted to revisit with no more effort than plugging in a stick and pressing 'on'.

So, I'm sure there are better ways to get your old games on there, but this was just easy and makes the classic feel more like the console it should have been to start with.

So, for non tech savvy / clinically lazy people, it's a thumbs up from me.

Does it have Burning Road? That was one of the first games I got with my PS1, a truly awful racing game that I played to death with my dad and older sister

From what I remember with mine using Autobleem I had an option for hi res mode along with 60Hz mode too and everything I tried didn't look blurry.

No Burning Road on this confirmed.

:toot:

I also see they have just released another usb stick, this time with another 99 games.

And none of them are Burning Road either. They are really doing a good job of avoiding Burning Road.
