This. Without doubt they need to let people have a (presumably brief) free try to make sure that it's workable for them.

This is quite informative on the strengths and limitations of the service at the minute...

Looking forward to trying this out but hope they don't pull the classics from PSN.

Would like to see a model like how OnLive does it where you can either buy it or get certain titles via their monthly pack.

This has the potential to be strawberry floating huge! Remember that it's not about the near future, but once cloud based services are more common place the one with the most experience will reap the rewards.

I sure hope Vita TV comes out here, would be awesome to have a couple of those around the house for streaming games to different rooms :datass:

"There's a slightly perceptible lag between button presses and the corresponding action onscreen," wrote Chris Welch for The Verge.

Others noted that the visuals were not as crisp as would be the case if they were running natively on a PS3. But they said the games were still playable.

I think the potential is there although I'm sceptical that it'll work well with current technology. If lag and visual discrepencies appear at an industry show then these issues will probably arise far more noticeably in the home. In the future it will probably evolve and work like a dream, but I won't be chucking out my older PlayStation gear any time soon.

Wishful thinking: Same price as Netflix.

Realistic Thinking: £16-ish.

So it's not just ps3 streaming? PS1 and 2 games are definitely part of the plan?

It'll be a separate subscription I reckon, I can't see it being more than £9.99 a month.

They've already said it'll be a subscription service.

Cheerfully withdrawn.

Maybe some kind of Premium PS+?

I believe that House said there would be added benefits to those with existing PS+ subscriptions.

How much does their Music Unlimited service cost? Is that a single tier subscription or varying levels of access?

It is on phone and tablet so long as, for now, it's a Sony Xperia.

It'll be on other (non Sony) devices when it comes out of beta I reckon.

It makes no sense now for sony to try and prop up there other divisions by doing this. Look at MS as an example many of there services and apps are on other platforms apart from WP8 and W8 they have to follow that example
