Only for a month for my son to play on mind you.

For the first time ever I’ve been seeing adverts for this service on TV. And a big budget one, at that. They’ve also included the new price point.

It’s like Sony has only just noticed the success of Xbox Game Pass and thought ‘gooseberry fool, we’d best let people know we do something similar too’

In a 2 part video series I take a in-depth look at game on demand service with the biggest so far in PSNOW. With PC and console options I test the best it has to offer and compare all the platforms and options. From speed, input, IQ, Performance and how it works and just what you can expect.
Part 1 is ready now with Part 2 coming for my Patrons soon and to follow shortly for all.

Is Games on Demand really ready for prime-time and what is the hidden cost of Cloud gaming?

I’ve often thought they should just integrate PS Now with PS+. I think having two separate services may confuse people

Me too. Here is how I would package up PlayStations online services

- PlayStation Plus = Online gaming, cloud saves
- PlayStation Plus Plus = Above with 2 'Free' games a month
- PlayStation Plus Plus Plus = Above with streaming service

I agree with the above in put off by paying for two subscription services on the same device.

Trying this now. Played a Lego PS3 game last night no lag or anything. Just downloading GTA now, finished it on the PS3 and always couldn’t justify buying it again on PS4 against newer titles. But people’s told me the differences are amazing so excited to play around a bit.

Is there a limit to how many games you can play per month on this?

Sony announcing Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Control, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus are now available to stream and download on PlayStation Now (which may explain why Raider is leaving Xbox Game Pass)

We’re excited to announce a new batch of PlayStation 4 games joining the PlayStation Now library in March. Starting 3rd March, PS Now subscribers can enjoy 11 new games, including Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Control, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which are available to stream and download. These games will join the PlayStation Now library of more than 700 PS4, PS3, and PS2 games in all.

Here is a full list of games joining the PlayStation Now library in March:

- Control (available until Monday, 31st August)
- Dead or Alive 5 Last Round
- Nascar Heat 3
- Nights of Azure
- Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon
- Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider (available until 31st August, 2020)
- Toukiden 2
- Toukiden Kiwami
- Warriors All-Stars
- Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus

Don’t forget to check out January’s games including Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which are available until 7th April, 2020.

If you haven’t tried PlayStation Now yet, now’s the perfect time to give it a spin with the seven-day free trial* for PS4 and PC. Download the more than 300 PS4 (and PS2) games in the service to play on your PS4 or PS4 Pro system, or stream any of the 700+ PS2, PS3, and PS4 games to your PS4 or PC.

With PS5 hopefully they go the route of Xbox and maybe do a combined sub with PS Now and PS Plus.

I mean, if they have any strawberry floating sense. Either that or THE stability or stability patches.

I took them up on the free trial recently and liked the service enough that I'm gonna continue to subscribe for now. There are a few easy PS3 platinum trophies I wanna bag in the coming weeks.
