Yeah I can see it being very much a rolling buffet, even for the Sony stuff.

I've dipped my toe into a couple of things from the service so far - the PS1 stuff is really ropey, there's only so far that nostalgia can carry you before you just realise that a lot of these games are now crap. Resident Evil Directors Cut is still a banger though.

Started Demon's Souls recently, not really feeling it so far. Might be because I'm just off the back of putting the best part of 200 hours into Elden Ring, but there's just something missing here, that certain something that makes the From games special

I've paid to go up to Premium for the rest of my subscription (about £8 taking me to the middle of August) and so far I think I'll stay in. Have enjoyed Death Stranding and Tetris Effect, as well as streaming FF12. The streaming on that worked really well, although I briefly tried a couple of others that had the occasional glitch. And there's still Returnal and Spiderman to have a go at amongst others. So for £50 more annually than the existing version with the monthly games, I'll stay on for another year, and if they regularly refresh the catalogue I'll continue beyond that.

If you own a PS5 but not the majority of Sony published PS5 enhanced games it's a complete no brainer. Unfortunately for me (or perhaps fortunately - I picked many of them up at a good price last xmas), I own most of these games already (Demon's Souls is the exception) so it's less tantalising.

Bit of a sour experience yesterday, when I was looking at buying Deliver Us the Moon outright - the only option on the store was to ‘Upgrade’ to Extra, it wouldn’t even give me a price. ‘Tempted to get onboard here’ I think, but I recall scrolling through Extra’s ‘Game Catalogue’ on the PS5’s PS+ section itself to specifically look for that game, and it wasn’t on the list. Soooo…I mean, this list on the console itself isn’t definitive? That’s weird, right?

Yeah, this game didn't appear on the list of 'Extra' games for me. I only knew about it after reading comments about it on here. It didn't stop me downloading it, but I had to search by name.

That looks like a strong selection of new games for the first month if the rumour is true. A mix of new Indies and older big franchises seems likely to be the approach Sony will take with the monthly updates. Looking forward to Stray.

I’d be all over the FFVII remake stuff if that comes on the service, I’d been holding off buying it

We did mention that you can upgrade Extra or Premium until your renewal date and see how you feel. It's no harm doing it now and I'd recommend you to play Deliver Us The Moon. I enjoyed it a lot. Also, during the year, some games will be leaving so you might miss out if you do not upgrade to next tier or two.

I'm really hoping Jeanne D'arc gets added to this service at some point. It's probably my favourite PSP game and just an awesome game in general.

2 PSP games for the Classics category and that's it? Not a single PS1 game? Or a single PS2 game? Hell, not even a single PS3 game?

You'd think they'd at least start the service with a few good months to hook people in!

I'm pretty sure at least some of those Assassin's Creed titles have been Plus titles in the past.
Gat Out of Hell has been on Plus previously as well.
