Heavenly Sword isn't even on there when it was on PS Now.

My Premium renewal is coming up but it's just not worth it for me at the moment. There are plenty of Yakuza games that I'd love to replay but I know I won't have the time. If there were more retro, relatively short games I'd be delighted.

Anyone tried the Artful Escape?

It's pretty cool, but the central conflict being "oh no my uncle was a famous folk singer and people want me to be like him" is the most upper-middle class privileged conceit for a game I've ever seen.

Maybe I just noticed it more because I watched PMG's video about the lack of working class people in video game development, but still.

It's not a very endearing character trait.

Played it on Game Pass. Great soundtrack.

Definitely knocking my sub down to Extra once it’s time to renew. The streaming quality just isn’t good enough - games are too blurry for my tastes despite having fibre broadband. The FPS isn’t stellar either. Kinda makes me want to just set a PS3 up under the tv instead and have them at the rez and frame rate they should be.

Oh, man, this was my fear. Now and again I find myself thinking that I like the idea of streaming games... but then reality hits and the thought of paying out cash to stream in poorer quality... ugh!

So after completing Miles Morales and picking Death Stranding or Ghoat of Tsushima as my next game, I finally started a new game over the weekend... Returnal!

Really enjoying it so far. More than I expected to, actually. Though it gave me some really messed up dreams last night! :slol:

I switched off my Plus auto-renewal and it expired last week. Going to rejoin whenever it is after payday that I next have time to play again.

My question is... I was on the Premium version, making use of all the features including streaming, and I think I want to keep that going... are there CDKeys-type deals for the higher tiers, or do I basically have to go back in at full price?

Forgot to turn off my auto renewal. :fp:

A year of Premium for me it is then!

I've been quite enjoying dipping into various games available on the service and in general I think there's enough there to justify the price so I don't feel too stupid about falling into another year of it, but I do think I'd have stepped down to Extra it I'd been paying attention

I think that you could buy discounted Store credit and then buy the subscription using your account funds, Damian. I have not done this myself but I'm assuming this would work!

One of the best offers right now would appear to be a £90 credit code for £75.85 from ShopTo.

Try Fortnite on XCloud. There's no cost to entry, other than your time making a Microsoft account to log in with. Use a USB cable if your device doesn't have the ability to connect your controller wirelessly.

Not played a Need for Speed game in well over a decade (I think the last one were demos of Most Wanted on PS2/360; and last one purchased was Underground 2!), so I suppose it'll be interesting to see what that series is now like.

Haven't heard of the other two titles.

Really enjoyed Toem, enough to play through again & get the trophies I’d missed to get the Platinum.

Tiny games like this are really what I want more of in my subscription services. In fairness they are getting better representation all the time.

Ta for the heads-up, BID0! I hadn't realised that you can stream free-to-start games for free via XCloud.

I cant help but be put off by the art choice. Why no colour? :(

Nothing on that list which is going to pop to the top of my gaming list, though a solid month based on review scores.

Ooh Deathloop is a nice addition, wonder if that's going to push back any appearance of it on Game Pass?

Might actually try out the PS5 version to see what the haptics add to the experience
