Anything to do with games at all.

Captain Kinopio, Sony also decided to not host a PSX event in December. They gave the same explanation for that which I think can be taken at face value. If they had a lot of PS4 games to show they’d show them wouldn’t they?!

News flash: you can wait until morning to watch.

Still, interesting times ahead. E3 is going to blow next year though.

Could be a PS5 annnouncement event instead? Felt a little odd in 2013 to have that PS4 event a few months before E3 as they’d already shown all the games.

If E3 2019 turns out to be like E3 2012 then no one should bother turning up.

Other than a couple of third party next-grn tech demos I don't see anything big being unveiled.

It feels like the ps4 only came out a couple of years ago.

They might just be moving over to Nintendo's model of video announcements. They do have a history of paying homage to Nintendo by copying every action they take to the T.

What’s the betting that Microsoft use this as the big blowout ‘Xbox Two’ or whatever Scarlett will be called? The eyes will most certainly be on them now

Nintendo will end up focusing on one main game again I imagine (Animal Crossing?) but should have other stuff to show for the Switch’s 3rd and 4th year

Imagine winning E3 without even being there.

Shame to see but probably a sensible decision looking at Itsmilners PS4 2019 line-up.

I've skipped the conference a few times over the past few years.

I'd be happy if they just released new trailers and release dates for the games in Milner's list.

Yeah I know, but there was always something quite exciting watching it live as it happened.

Well I think this confirms that PS5 won't be out until 2020, there's no way they skip E3 during a launch year.

Bit gutted about this, E3 always feels like a derby between the big 3. Their last showing was really poor, not in terms of content, but the delivery was pretty embarrassing.

Sony don't have to make much effort to sell there machines and games people will buy there stuff regardless wether they do shows or dont, look how much effort ms have changed the xbox and still they don't sell in Europe or japan, face it Sony only need to release trailers and they'll do well.

Yet, outside of Forza, they remain incapable of creating great games.

Microsoft and Phil Spencer talk and talk and talk, but continually cancel and delay games, and when games actually do come they're incomplete and buggy like Sea of Thieves or State of Decay, or they offer nothing new like Halo 5 and Gears 4.

Sony stay quiet yet release great games like God of War, Spider-man, Last of Us, Uncharted, SotC, Horizon, Bloodborne and Astrobot consistently.

Now which one do you think consumers really care about?

If youre taking a straw poll, Microsoft, cos they make the games I want to play and offer great value for money with game pass.
