Apologies for the blanket mail. Just wanted to check if anyone else had received the attached email? It looks like a fishing scam, and when you click the link, it doesn't take you to where it looks like it should.

Be careful out there!

Hi

I've already raised an IT ticket.

For some reason all of my folders on the N Drive are corrupt or missing.

Speak soon

P. S did you sign GGs card?

FWD: N:/ Woes

Hi Qikz,

Appreciate this has just been raised but please can you get this sorted asap? Not sure if you realise but there are several crucial files based on this drive that Dual needs to access for BAU activities relating to month end.

What is the ETA for this being fixed?

Thanks

Hi Cuttooth,

Unfortunately as I already told you on the phone we need proper approval from one of your managers and after I've emailed them five times already they still haven't come back to me. Please if this is important please follow this up with your manager.

Regards,
Qikz

Any updates on this?

Hi Qikz,

Just wondering how this was going and whether any progress has been made. I don’t want to nag, but it’s been five years since the issue was raised and it’d be good to get an update.

Many thanks etc.

Balladeer,

This is seemingly a weekly occurrence, and your previous emails haven't done anything to improve the situation. Perhaps you need to go see them in person, as so far it just seems you're incapable of getting even this simple task done.

The bosses son

(Also based on a true story, which was sent to HR but 'all-staffed' - apparently the CEO went ballistic)

Lol, no, unfortunately not. That would have been the only thing that could have made it even funnier.

Hi That's,

Please remember when using your company email, that you represent us professionally, and as such you should not be using this kind of casual "Internet" language.

Please see the company intranet for more information on corporate approved email language.

Hi all, and definitely not one specific person,

Please can I remind you that if you are playing music in the office, it should be quiet enough that it doesn’t disturb the person next to you.

Kind regards,
Balla

For strawberry float's sake, how many times do I have to explain it? No worries though, I'll go speak to them all now

All,

It has come to our attention that people are reusing old message chains to communicate new information. Please (!!) remember that the mail server is running on an Excel 2003 spreadsheet backend and cannot handle threads with more than 32k characters.

Hi All,

This is a phishing email, please check in future before you click any links or take any advice from any emails with dodgy spelling and at least check with us if you're unsure. We don't have an Excel 2003 spreadsheet, our budget didn't stretch that far after what the government gave to us so we're currently running by carrier pigeon. Reminder it will take a good few hours for the pigeons to go too and from both locations so please don't overloard the pigeon with attachments as it will slow things down.

Regards,
Actual IT.

Hi Vic,

Do any of the cakes have nuts in? There are crumbs all over the kitchen, and these could be lethal to a colleague with nut allergies.

Please try to be more considerate of others in future.

PS Happy Birthday

Somebody has shot and eaten my pigeon. Please advise.
