The Jackson Cheese was strawberry floating crazy and also hilarious.

Their Trump episodes were good at showing just what a piece of gooseberry fool he is (as if we didn’t already know).

Wish I'd started listening to it before now, they played some UK dates a few weeks ago and would have been brilliant to see them covering local stuff.

Yeah (as Minty says) the UK ones were good, they are available as a separate podcast.

I’ve listened to them out of order but have started going back to the first ones. I listened to the Thanksgiving one last night, strawberry float me that “celebration” has horrific origins.

Nice one, thanks, I'll check out the UK ones and download the Reagan episodes. I know a lot of it is played for laughs (mostly due to Gar...eth's incredulous reactions), but some of the material is *fascinating*.

I've also been recommended Reply All and listened to one this morning. It follows a similar format as The Dollop, but covers explanations behind internet stories/viral content. Seems like a really good one as well.

Yeah Reply All is great too, the subjects covered has definitely got more eclectic as times gone on.

I've recently started listening to Redhanded and I'm pretty addicted.

If anyone here enjoys true crime, Chilluminati's series on Tommy Pitera is amazing.

I've started listening to The Magnus Archives. I like to listen to spooky horror stories sometimes and it's doing a good job of scratching the itch. Not the best writing but some of the stories have creeped me out enough to keep listening.

The Reagan episodes of The Dollop were incredible. I grew up while he was in power so all I really knew about him was the glimpses of him that I'd see on the news. Unbelievable. And blumin' Nancy!

I started listening to Grounded, new Louis Theroux one that he's doing during lockdown. It's just him interviewing people, but if you like his style then it's well worth checking out. First two episodes have been with Jon Ronson and Boy George.

I've been on something of a history podcast kick of late - I've long loved Hardcore History, but recently was introduced by the HH thread to Mike Duncan's History of Rome, which was truly wonderful, and his subsequent Revolutions podcast, which is also a really fantastic listen. In addition, I've taken to listening to the History of Byzantium, to continue where Duncan left off - it's also very good, but has a different feel due to the different creator.

Are there any other good history podcasts out there?
And is the British History podcast better than the English History one?

Have you ever tried any of their side podcasts? They're definitely worth a look.

I particularly recommend Wonderful, in which Griffin and his wife Rachel talk about all the little things in life that bring them joy, like hitting every green light while driving, Tamagotchis, and they're favourite music of the moment. It's a departure ( ) from the boys' usual antics, but it's
pleasant listening and often very funny in its own right.

I personally have Wonderful to thank for introducing me to my favourite musician, possibly of all time, Miya Folick.
