Could evolve as many of your Budew into Roserades as you can? Definitely make it easier

I doubt the stats boost from evolving them will be much good against that Garchomp, but I think it's time I at least tried.

Even a Lv80 Luxray and Lv78 Raichu aren't faster than it, allowing it to just annihalate them before they can even do anything. I just want Home integration already. Let me wipe it out with my Lv100 Umbreon and Espeon.

you used a raichu on a garchomp?

I tried to use a Raichu against a Garchomp. The result is not pretty at all.

Of course it wasn’t. That scenario was never gonna work

Oh, I'm well aware. But for the entirety of that run I never caught much else, and never swapped anyone out. I've got no other options beyond stubbornly rushing the league hoping to get lucky. Unless I was to spend as much time as I've been at the league training up a new team. Which I might just consider anyway considering how long it could take Home integration to get here.

I'll definitely keep trying. I can't leave the league unbeaten. It wouldn't be right.

Your best bet with Raichu would probably be to outspeed it just for the sake of using Charm to lower its attack so the rest of your team can survive. The highest speed Cynthia's Garchomp can have is 221. Assuming this is the case, and Garchomp having a neutral defense nature with 0 defense EVs, you'd need a Luxray with 239 attack, with Guts, afflicted with a status ailment, and use Facade to guarantee OHKO. Cause I'm assuming you didn't breed to give it Ice Fang.

Well, I'm using Reflect (or trying to) in order to try surviving against it. Although now I think on it, trying to set up Reflect while facing against it instead of the Lucario which I know I can survive against is a bad idea.

Reflect against Lucario then Charm against Garchomp. Easy money.

I think this victory is all but assured, now. I evolved the Budew into Roselia, just for that bit of an extra power boost. Then, while training underground, I come across a Hoothoot. Immune to ground attacks, meaning that Garchomp can't use it's most powerful attack against me, and it has a fairy type move in Moonblast. Evolve it into Noctowl, EV train its speed up a bit so it can get first, hit it with a Hypnosis then barrage it with Moonblast and Dream Eater. League victory should be guaranteed.

Are you going to stream what will hopefully be the winning run? Just wait till you face the league a second time :shifty:

I've barely done any streaming since January. I just can't handle it with my worsening condition. I'm hoping I'll finally understand just what this problem is at ENT on Wednesday.

You need to have finished all the main missions in Legends to get this by the way.

Indeed! Unlike the Shaymin (and surely Darkrai) event this doesn’t sound like it’s a timed event either, why they didn’t do the same with Shaymin, Darkrai and Manaphy I have no idea.
