I’d say do a little grinding in Victory Road, maybe get the majority into the low 60s, highest Pokémon is 66, although it’s probably worth having a go before you turn to levelling up.

Is it possible to stash your cash in this?

Because if so, if the penalty for losing a battle is losing cash, then just bank all your savings and have a go.

Usually, the Elite Four are the best way to grind anyway.

No way to stash your cash in this game.

I wonder if we’ll finally get an update on BDSP’s missing event Pokémon and Home integration when we get nearer Pokémon day near the end of this month, despite loving Legends Arceus I’m still hoping these get a little more love from Game Freak and ILCA.

For losing money it's (number of badges x 12 x highest level Pokémon in your party)

I recall in the first couple of gens you pretty much just lost half you money

Anyway, best way to get money on BDSP is the couple of trainers near the Pokémon mansion, one has a Chatot and the other a Roselia, rematching them near the end/post game with the amulet coin gets you about 16K each time, no chance of you getting beat by them either and the VS Seeker charges really quick with the bike.

Finally defeated the champion. Had to spam Luxray with a speed/x sp defense.

Shaymin mystery gift event is live, it only runs until the 27th of March for some bizarre reason. I’m assuming we might get Darkrai and Arceus events in a similar timed fashion afterwards.

Yes, but thought I’d post in here just in case people only watched the gen 9 announcement after it had finished :)

Going to get both my Shaymin today :toot:

These events seem worse than the usual timed legendary giveaways, because it's actual game content being time gated. Or am I just unfamiliar with how involved time events have been in the past/misunderstanding what this is?

Like with the Manaphy event it’s just a poor way to distribute the content in my opinion, I can’t see they’ll update the game to take the content out, they’re just locking it off for no reason.

This is exactly how it was in gen 4. They really wanted it to feel like the old games it would seem

At least you can download it from home, you don't have to find a GAME store and be a 30 year old man asking for a Pokemon code.

Can't you just get the code on the GAME site, you get emailed it normally.

I know you can these days (that’s how I got the Shiny cover legendary for Sword and Shield), it sure about it years gone by though.

God the hit boxes are annoying in this  Night and day difference going back to this after Legends. Even using the d-pad is awful :dread:

Caught Shaymin in my Pearl save, no catching Giratina in Diamond before going to catch Shaymin in that, thought I’d caught Giratina already but obviously not.

God damn Cynthia's team is annoying for the buds and bolts. Well, that Garchomp is, anyway. Even a Lv80 Luxray and Lv78 Raichu aren't faster than it, allowing it to just annihalate them before they can even do anything. I just want Home integration already. Let me wipe it out with my Lv100 Umbreon and Espeon.
