That's just trying to get a rise and I will not be baited.

Can Switch games be pre-downloaded before launch?

Daughter is very excited by this so I'd like to have it ready for after school than waiting till I get home.

I’m sure i have seen people say this has already started pre-downloading (pre-orders) but generally the games do download a few days before launch.

You definitely can at some point before launch, as a recent email from Nintendo said you could start playing at midnight as well so that’s when it goes live.

When's the embargo up on this? Crazy how little they've shared with the press.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

I’m hoping reviews go live on Wednesday afternoon, seems to be the norm for Nintendo games these days.

Though I might still change my mind and go Cyndaquil. Had it been Froakie instead of Oshawott, it would be Froakie 100%.

I’m not a fan of Toxicroak either, something we agree on! Mewtwo gets away with it as its a cloned and genetically manipulated Pokémon though

Remember that Japanese overview trailer from a while back anyway? Finally been given a translated version :toot:

Anyone expect this to get DLC? I wondered if that might be GF plan for a release at the end of the year rather than a new game

I think I’ve mentioned before that I can see a large DLC for Legends Arceus (maybe a small DLC for BDSP but no idea what that would contain really) being the focus for the end of 2022, hence the early release date of this week. I’m still doing a reasonable job avoiding spoilers but the general impression I’m getting is that this is really good, if it does turn out to be that good it’d make sense to give gen 9 another year in development and do some DLC for this.

I don't even think Oshawott's that bad (and Samurott's better than Typhlosion, yes it is Robbo :capnscotty: ) - it's just Rowlet's in a different league.

Also if we're talking about rubbish Pokémon designs, the fact that there's a French maid/Playboy Bunny hybrid 'Mon surely sweeps the board there.

Oh Samurott is nowhere near as bad as some Pokémon designs, Lopunny (well I’m guessing you’re referring to that!) is really bad

Isn't this meant to be set in an 'ancient era'? Why is there a photography studio? Why is there electric lighting? :fp:

Isn't the electric powered by Pokemon?
