1 big question I have is, are the zones you go to to complete quests built to encourage exploration? Like are there secrets and such if you explore?

So far on my 4+ hour play (And I'm not very far, trying to grind and grind as I always seem to do in Pokémon games ) you get quests from NPC's which so far have been get certain items or beat/catch certain Pokémon which of course your going to have to go explore and hunt out.

Have you had any of those BotW-esq moments where you see something in the background and go hunt it out and find something surprising? It sounds like it might purely just be the main quest stuff you find in the levels, no real secret/hidden areas
