Got all the plates, faced and lost to I assume the final final boss and need to face it again. The music was amazing.

Yeah, even though I'm at 72ish hours and I've played most of the game I still can't understand how the battle system is even remotely fair in this. Absolutely no luck haha

I found that the AI could time strong or agile moves to perfection, it takes a fair bit of trial and error alongside a bit of luck for the player to ace it like the AI can. It’s a very good mechanic when you can nail it though, didn’t happen much for me though :lol:

It literally shows you the move order and how it will play out before you select each move. I'm pretty sure I explained how it all works about 30 pages back. It's really not that complicated. The battle system is completely fair. The only thing I never got around to understanding so much is how damage is calculated, as pokemon like Blissey can still hit hard physically despite having low attack.

I've been watching the turn order, but I've seen in fights that it will say they get to move once and then I get to move again. I attack. They attack THREE times then I would attack but my Pokemon died lmao

I beat Giratina finally. Ended up grabbing Darkrai after and about to head over to Shaymin. Almost there, just 7 other Pokemon to get before I can face the final final boss.

Yes, because it's the same for them. To you it's one turn, but then through a combination of quicker moves and agile style, they can also make it more than just one turn.

The two last major legendaries and the four that appear as a quest after you finally beat that boss I was stuck on. Went around picking up Manaphy, Phione, Shaymin and Darkrai just now. :toot:

It took me a few tries to get the pattern down, one thing that helped me is how far you can actually hit it from if you fully charge your throw so you can take it at a much more steady pace.

Finished the pokedex, maxed out everyone to level 10 (was doing this as I was going along) and caught everything bar an extra cyndaquil for my living dex. I also just hit max trainer rank as well so I've basically finished the game! I really enjoyed my time with this, took me 80 hours overall, but I'm happy to have done it.

EDIT: Just realised I have lots of side quests to do - a lot of the questline for the daybreak update to get mass mass outbreaks in other regions too so I'll maybe go back and do those another time when I want to start shiny hunting!

Am I missing something obvious or is there really no way to auto sort the pasture?

Sadly you are not missing anything obvious, its a minor, yet massive personal annoyance for myself that you can't auto sort the boxes into dex order on any of the games other than LGPE :fp:

It's definitely an oversight, on LGPE you had to catch loads of them to get the most candy, so you could bulk cull send to the professor to get candy back, much like the grit system in this, which makes the omission even worse alongside the need to catch multiple to rank up the players rank.

Have managed to collect a good amount of shinies from this and just now I finally got a shiny Turtwig spawn - I usually if I see a shiny put it into battle so I don't somehow make it disappear and it strawberry floating ran away so I lost out on it. Damnit! :cry:

After that my shiny luck plumetted, but today I just got a shiny Spiritomb which makes it ALL better. He's so cool :D
