Wonder if it’s something new or another Hisuian variation of one? It’d be neat if we got some nods to Legends Arceus in the BDSP games too.

Surely this game pre-dates video cameras

I’ve thought that, but then I’ve thought that Team Galaxy could have had dealings with the legendary Pokémon of Palkia and Dialga in the past? Allowing them to time travel, hence the Arceus phone? Which I’m guessing the footage might have been captured on? Can explain and make everything so complicated with time travel though……

They've already shown somewhat anachronistic stuff so a video camera isn't too crazy. Like the fact they have Pokeballs for a start!

They'd better be literal boxes.

Haven’t they said Legends Arceus has its own version of boxes that are basically fields?

Maybe it's like that era of Japan where European powers start getting involved in the previously shut-off society bringing new technologies, but rather than muskets from the Dutch it's pokeballs from the East Silph Company.

Or like in a game of Civilization where you think you've been doing well to develop economic and agricultural advances in your quiet little archipelago in the corner of the map and then out of nowhere the Russians turn up with tanks and fighter jets and burn all your grain stores down.

I love the look of them! I know Hisuian Growlithe has generally been well received, but I personally thought it was a bit disappointing (and I love regular Growlithe). I'll definitely be aiming to add one of these to my team though.
