I'm still playing through Skyward Sword, was hoping to be done before this. I'm not sure I'll be able to resist though.

I’ve only just started playing Halo Infinite and I will 100% be dropping that for a while as soon as this comes out

I really hope so! I’ve not seen anything about when we might get reviews for it.

Yeah I read somewhere the review embargo ends 6am tomorrow (might be US time, in which case would be late morning for us)

EDIT it's 2pm our time tomorrow

If you can read this, you're too close.

I got an email telling me they were going to dispatch my copy on Thursday with next day delivery. First time I’ve been told the delivery plans usually they just tell me to have the money before they charge me

Urgh getting tempted by this.

Got MH Rise and Spiderman PS5 on my plate (the latter of which I just started yesterday), as well as only just finishing BDSP. Every logical thing says that I should just hold off for a bit, but then the leaked responses have been overwhelmingly positive and it seems like the freshest Pokémon experience in 20 years...

Super effective against fish-type Pokémon.

Right, shall we take a stab at guessing what the overall metacritic score will be on this?

I’m going 78

I've never really got on with a Pokemon game but this one sounds a little different. So I managed to talk my youngest into spending his hard-earned (given for Christmas) money on it so I get to try it for free. He does actually really like Pokemon games and we went with the 2 games for £84 offer on the store as I had £20 sitting on there doing nothing. Now I just need to decide whether to use the other voucher on Advance Wars or Project Triangle.

I'm quite excited about the potential for this, after having ignored it until basically last week. I've managed to miss almost all the leaks, but the general rumblings from people who've absorbed them all seem really positive. I'm hopeful the reviews back it up when they land.

I skipped out on the Diamond and Pearl remakes as they felt too similar to the originals, so I'm really onboard with them trying something a bit different.

Did you bully your son into buying a game you wanted to play?

I didn't know we could do that. Noted. :shifty:
