I’m still just not sold on the Switch Pro rumours, the Switch is almost 4 years old now so surely it’d be better just to release a full replacement for it in 2023 (for example) rather than a mid gen upgrade in 2022, potentially so close to their minimum target of 7 years. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X had 4 and 3 years respectively before their new consoles launched late last year, each coming out 3 and 4 years after the base version of the PS4 and Xbox One. Just seems like the longer they leave it the less likely a mid gen refresh is and whatever they had planned for a mid gen refresh will just get rolled into the Switch 2? Saying that, if this came out bundled with the Switch Pro I’d probably be there day 1 for it
Barnsy! wrote:Not a fan but watched the whole presentation - it was great. Pokemon fans have to be happy with that, production was really good - seemed like a lot of hard work went into putting together the opening with all the clips, it was very cool. Then we was given a decent amount of info about PokeSnap, that game does look interesting plus remasters of Diamond / Pearl.
Legends looks very cool and kind like what the fans have wanted for 20 odd years. A full-fat open world botw-esq action rpg. Frame rate drops aside the wild open landscape does look very pretty and fun to run-around in. I hope it works out.
The opening montage really got me in the feels!
It’s definitely what a lot of fans have been after for a while, let’s hope it lives up to the high (sometimes far too high) expectations we’ll have for it as we near its launch next year.
