Pokemon Masters OUT NOW (iOS, Android)

A new horrible gotcha mobile game for people to whinge about microtransactions is out today.

Tried having a look, but the game just hangs on a 'signing into google' screen thing.

They chose Brendon over May which is unforgivable. Unless they add more trainers in the future, I'll prob pass wasting time on this.

It's when the game loads, it automatically tries signing into google play games.

I've played it for a while, and it offers a fun little something to while away the time until Sword/Shield release [unless you just revisit an older mainline game, obviously]. Story's bare as anything, as to be expected, but does offer a few fun interactions from the story segments I've played.

It's probably not going to last for more than a month maximum before I lose interest, though. If you thought Diamond/Pearl were slow for battles, just wait until you get to some of the boss battles, where waiting to attack is pretty much all you can do while they soak up the attacks you finally manage to use.

well i took me ages to get it to download and then its starts off with one of the most irritating characters in the entire pokemon franchise so not off to a great start

im sure things will pick up
