Oh are they? I thought they'd said there were no IV's/EV's in Let's Go, don't take any notice of my ramblings

You might be right, I don't know -- just saw you can give your Pokémon candies to boost their stats and I assumed that was EVs of sort

I guess the candy does kind of sound like its own version of EVs then, wonder if there's a limit for each stat or if you can just boost each stat to the max.

2 weeks today Wonder when we'll start to see reviews for it? Kind of hesitant to watch the latest gameplay as I've watched quite bit already and just want to play it for myself now

I'm sure I saw something about preorders on the eShop getting £5 worth of points.

I hope they don't do that again like with Mario Party because I've preordered it from Amazon with the Pokeball thing

I've preordered via the official Nintendo store, my current plastic Pikachu key ring is in desperate need of an upgrade and you get a free key ring with it. I've gone for the Poké ball plus bundle as well.

Got the Pikachu & Poke Ball Plus version preordered but I kinda want it digitally.

New feature of the Poke Ball Plus has been revealed. If you transfer a Pokemon from Let's Go to it then it automatically spins Pokestops.

Really excited that we've only got another week to wait, kind of wish they'd left the reveal of Red, Blue and Green being in it till it actually came out though, not a huge spoiler by any means but they do seem to be just throwing new information our way even a week before release.

I just got a shipping notification for mine. It's due tomorrow so presume they've just sent it by mistake. I've pretty much read nothing about it so no idea what it's mean to be like.

Nope. Looks like they just made a mistake. I ordered a few things all at the same time and their shipping email said it was all included. Makes sense it was just a systems error, a whole week early would be unlikely.

Hope we'll start to see reviews over the next couple of days, be interesting to see their opinion on the game.

Can't wait to play it.

It will be great to play on handheld just before going to bed! Like the old days with a Gameboy Colour.

I have to say I’m really looking forward to playing through this as well! I’ve not played a Pokemon game since Platinum and this seems like a great re-entry point to the series (nostalgia factor also plays a big part)

Ordered both versions of this for my kids.


I'll wait for a proper game myself. Not 'Babies First Pokémon'.

I'm still mixed about picking this up. I told myself I wouldn't, because of the lack of Pro Controller support, the capture mechanics, it's clearly not aimed at me. And potentially we're getting a next generation entry next year, which isn't long to wait.

But with each new video I feel my resolve weakening, it is incredibly cute.
