Still not overly sure about having Gravellar in my team but I still have not found a suitable replacement. I also woke up Snorlax with the PokeFlute, beat him in battle then lost him after he broke out of 3 Ultra Balls!

Will I get a chance to catch Snorlax again?

There's a second Snorlax to the east of Vermilion City. If that's the one you already tried go to the west of Celadon city.

Cool, I’ll hunt down that second one!

Save your game just before engaging so you can reset if you miss out. Although you do get plenty of other chances post game.

Is it just me or do poison type attacks poison your Pokémon a lot more than in previous games?

Also can't believe I've never used a Nidoking before in any of the games, it's wrecking stuff for fun

Forgot to see the Nature Lady today, but I lucked out and got a Jolly nature, which is livable enough.

Yeah that was my reaction too. Sounds weird but I've never really noticed the back end of a Venusaur before

This has stood out to me as well  he wiggles his arse all the time!

Spent just over an hour and half on this tonight, spent most of that time just going through Sliph Co (and i’ve still not finished it yet!)

Champion Title Get!
Eevee Master Title Get!
Will send out chubby cheeks Raticate against MewTwo soon.
And my profile says I've only spent about 25 hours playing.

Did Siplh Co this morning, I'd forgotten it was 11 floors to be honest! Next up will be Saffron Gym, still not fully decided on my last team member, currently just rotating it around to evolve stuff to fill out my Poké Dex.

Beat the Elite Four and caught Mewtwo last night. The Green fight was a pretty cool surprise. 19 hours on the clock and 98 in the 'dex without any input from Go, which I am pretty sure is the highest 'dex percentage at the credits I've had when doing a playthrough in Gen 1.

Given that Go spamming my 'dex would feel a little cheap, I think I will persist for a while. Those wild Dragonitesare out there and waiting for me.

Playing Fire Red last month and any ailments would happen often to me.

And don't even get me started on confusion.

Yeah it's the same with most status conditions, maybe I'm just really unlucky or maybe it's a gen 1 thing (at least in this your Pokémon don't have to battle wild Pokémon as well as trainers so you so don't really notice it draining their health quite as much)'that they've kept in, either way it's slightly annoying.

I've read that Meltan can only be evolved in Go!
