just a question which you dont have to answer but we see that you must have a considerable roll at the moment compared to the rest of us. what roll are you currently playing with/ how many buyins at the $100 stakes? its a stake which i aim to be playing at by the end of the year so was just looking for some more info around it??

My roll is somewhere between £7500 and £8000, it's all kept in £s as far as I can keep it as it just helps me work out how much I have if it's all in one currency. When we're talking about the $100 stakes are you referring to MTTs or Cash?

Edit: Eventually I may make a video, it's but lack of ability to use complicated software/ know how to make one which is holding me back.

There's a link in the first post to the software you need and it's pretty easy to use. Catch me on MSN sometime and I'll be happy to walk you through it. :D

Edit: I think I'll play some this weekend, so I might make a video, maybe I can get some feedback which could show me if I'm going wrong anywhere with MTTs.

It's really not hard to use. If you can work out HEM you can use camtasia. You just need a PC that isn't a pile of gooseberry fool and a mic.

Just 3-tabled 25NL for a bit and finished with another $45 profit after 800 hands. Only down $65 for the month now after being $300 down at one point.

Currently first with a monster stack in a 200euro gtd rebuy. 4euro entry but only 23 people entered. 68euro top prize. Will report back.

Edit finished 3rd for 30euro. Struggled from the chip lead position, need to read up more on managing a big stack.

Played probably the worst hand of cash game poker of my life last night at the casino and it cost me nearly £90. My big blind was limped into and I had 10h-7s. The flop was Ah-9h-8h. First to act raises up, one caller, one fold and then me, I call with my ten high flush draw and my open-ended straight draw. The turn is the 6c giving me the straight. Check from the original raiser, check from the caller, followed by a 3/4 of the pot size bet from me - I don't want anyone chasing that flush. Raise by the original raiser putting me all-in, followed by a push from the caller (it was only marginally more than the raise). At this point I should have folded, but insanity took hold of me and I made the call based on the observation I'd made earlier that they both made moves with very little. Cue them turning over the King-high flush and the Queen-high flush respectively. Unbelievably bad on my part. Very uncharacteristic as well. Never playing at those stakes while tired from work again. So angry at myself.

Yes.

I'm playing the £100 side event on Friday. The side event structures can be found here.

Any idea if there are satellites to the side-events, rather than the main event?

Sorry I don't know. I think Ecno and Sat have looked into it a little more so they might be able to help.

You should use the £200 you just won in your rebuy.

I can't use £100 of it, but I am wanting to poker a small chunk of it. Its just annoying because as cool as playing in the UKIPT would be, the real next step for me is APAT. but there aren't any Southern stops in the whole tour this year (not even London :fp: ) which really limits my options regards big tournies, and this UKIPT sounds sooooo tempting....

I'm pretty sure there're aren't any side events on Stars but there might be at the event. I would have suggested trying to satelilte into one of £108 package sats but there aren't any left. There's a £44 seat only sat on Monday I think or a £33 rebuy at 6:55 tonight for a package.

Alright this is it - I'm doing the £5 rebuy for an UKIPT seat on Stars in a feeble half arsed attempt to get to Brighton. Theres only 16 odd runners at the moment though...

Rail for giggles!

Railing.

Okay here is the video of the rebuy I played earlier. I've cut out all parts which didn't involve me making any decisions.

All feedback appreciated. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8PKK5HRM
