Cheers!

I'm close to final table in yet another MTT. 1594 players at start, now 34 left and I'm 22nd...

Edit: And out in 27th.
Was doing really well until it got down to about 100 players and then I lost a huge pot with two pair against a guy who was chasing a gutshot (of which I had one of his outs). He hit it on the river.
After that I made a small recovery but was always below average in chips. So 27th is better than I thought I'd get but almost all of the money is at the final table so I didn't win very much.

WSOP ME

I haven't read the updates but apparently with 11 left there were two women remaining. They busted in 11th and 10th. :(

No notables left either so there's no story.

Chip leader and guy in fourth are good mates. It would make for a pretty sweet HU. That does seems about it though...

Random player goes all in, I call with Aces against 7s. 7s hit quads on the flop.

In an afternoon £25+5 bounty tournament at the Fox in London. It's level 4 and I've chipped up a little without going to showdown. On around 6.7k from a 4.5k starting stack.

Old guy next to me has a nasty habit of holding his cards up next to his chest and having them posed, ready to fold when it gets round to him. I politely tap him and mention that he should only be ready to fold when the action reaches him, as it affects what the other players might do. He tells me, 'I'll do what I like with my cards. Keep to yourself. etc.'

After the hand, the dealer begins to agree with me and another middle-age suited guy from the end of the table butts in, concurring with the old donk, both now beginning to mock me. The suited man keeps this up for a circuit. The rest of the table are hooded/sunglassed/headphone wearing rocks. I ask him who he thinks he's impressing. He asks me if I think he's some idiot who's just walked in off the street. I explain to him that's exactly what I think he is.

Towards the end of the level, he opens UTG+1 to 3x from around a 10k stack. On the button I find KK and ship around 6.2k on him, hoping he will tilt call. The action folds to him and he does for 60% of his stack, showing AQcc.

The board comes AQ4J2 and he takes in the pot smugly and keeps needling as I leave the table.

Bluggh live poker is cruel.

Yeah I play a lot on there. Tend to go through seriously hot streaks then some terrible streaks. Been donked on the river so badly a few times recently. Very frustrating.

62nd out of about 4000 in one of those Depositer Freerolls. Have to admit I've been fairly fortunate and keep hitting 3 of a Kind.

After what happened with Full Tilt I'm not sure that's a good thing.

So, now that the WSOP is over until October, up next, boys, is the big one. The GOLIATH.

http://www.grosvenorukpokertour.com/en/ ... -Schedule/

Last year, 1,765 runners coughed up the £100 entry fee to create one of the largest tournaments in European history and a prize pool of £176,500. Several GRcade members played but sadly none were able to navigate the many land mines present in the Day 1 fields. Currently confirmed for this year are myself, Rex, Aaron and Satriales. Sykes is also considering coming.

Anyone else?

Last year's final table payouts for anyone that is curious:

1st Lee Rawson £32,705
2nd Mark Broomhall £20,120
3rd Robert Panayi £13,240
4th Simon Deadman £10,590
5th Helen Godfrey £8,120
6th Clive Smith £5,825
7th Andy Nguyen £4,235
8th Anthony Lissner £3,300
9th Mitchell Scarlett £2,540
