Back. £220 cash and very happy with it. After listening to everyone's advice I decided to open up and not be so tight and it worked well, kept stealing blinds and pots, kept consistently around/just below average, and actually had no big hands, apart from one which to be honest, fell into my lap: (Not good with exact figures)

Blinds are 4k/8k and I'm on about 70k at this point, with the players at the table ranging from 40k to about 200k, with two 85-110k stacks to my right. Table is fairly tight with decent players. I'm in the big blind. UTG+1 3bets and it's folded to the best player on the table (IMO) on the Button, who raises to about 70k. Small Blind calls it and it comes to me and I've got pocket aces. I shove. Original raiser folds, Korean player tanks for ages and folds it (saying that if the other guy wasn't behind him, he'd call for sure) and then the other guy folds too, handing me a huge pot without showdown. Turns out Korean Player folded A5 Suited, all we got out of the other guy is that he folded A-x. But this essentially tripled me up. Sidenote: Korean player was about 30-40k now. We ended up on the same table again later and when I busted he was on about 600-700k. Really nice guy too.

Had a chance to double which I horrificaly botched. Was on a new table, blings 6/12k. This was my 3rd hand on it. Hand 1 I'd re-raised all-in on a 3bet and got him to fold it. Hand 2 I just mucked. Hand 3, I'm UTG and have Aces again. I raised to 50k (I'm on about 200k~ here) folded around to Small Blind who makes it 100k and has me covered, just about. Now I shoved here, but what I did, possibly due to inexperience, is that I just insta all-ined as soon as he raised, which most the players commented on being as really quick. Small Blind tanks for a long time and folds it, basically saying the quick all in was why he did, and if I'd taken my time over it he calls, which made me feel pretty stupid.

Carried on picking up pots here and there, eventually was on another new table. I'd been pretty aggressive, and the guy directly to my left was beginning to re-raise my 3bets. So hand comes, pair of Jacks (A dangerous hand to do this with I guess) and he raises me the same amount he has done the last few times. I range him completly wrong, thinking he's raising with middle pairs, or Ace-x and will most likely fold to a shove. So I shove and he flips over Aces, busting me out.

Loved every minute though and can't wait until next year. Feel that I did a lot better than I was expecting and it's really given me impetus to drive on and improve my game.
